TIP 1 - Demand attention with your title
It's so easy to have a page title that is simply the name of the product or service that you are trying to sell. This is a huge no-no!!! Yes, include the product name - especially if it's a household brand name - but never just the product name on its own.
Qualify them and tell them why they should read on
In many cases, the title is your once chance to capture your reader's attention, so you need to make the best use of it. It serves two functions. Firstly, it pre-qualifies the reader based upon their motives for being on your site in the first place. And then secondly, it's a promise of great things if they click through and read your full product sales page or review page.
Think about a title that is more descriptive, or even something that's more personal to you yourself - something that your blog readers could also possibly relate to. For example, "My first book 'The power of SEO' is now out!" instead of just 'The power of SEO'. Or maybe something like "Enjoy instant refreshment and nutrition with the XYZ PowerJuicer" instead of just "XYZ PowerJuicer".
