TIP 3: Build a rapport and gain credibility
We've all heard the well-known sales saying "People buy from people". Well it's true. Nobody ever buys anything legitimately from someone they don't know - even if the relationship they have with the seller is a very limited one. So you need to give something of yourself to enable the reader to know that they are buying this product from someone they feel they can trust and who is knowledgeable about the product on sale.
Who are you and why should I buy from you?
Telling the reader about yourself, needn't be a chapter and verse recital of your life story! It should simply offer a line about you and your relationship with the product being sold. So maybe some relevant credentials to show authority, the product benefits that you the writer or seller have enjoyed, and the reasons that you are the ideal person to buy from.
Like I say, buyers buy from people they relate to and trust. So make yourself an authoritative source of information and a credible seller, and build a bond with your buyers that will make you the go-to seller for that product.
