I hope this tutorial has shown you how easy it is to make adjustments to the look of your website. I know it can take a bit of getting used to, with the syntax and stuff.
However with practice you can really make your website your own, and if there are any 'niggles' you can adjust them easily.
The great thing about child themes is that you cannot break your theme. If you're scared something will go wrong, don't worry - you can always delete the code you just added, or change it. And if things get really messy you can always default to the original theme you were using.
If you have any questions or would like me to have a look at any of your sites, please post a comment below!

Well written tutorial, Mark! Do you know if you do your site customization on the parent theme, do you lose all that when the theme owner makes updates? Is this why you would want a child theme?
Thanks again for doing this tutorial.
