400 clicks and no refferrals

Ever since I started, I have put a few things on my social medias trying to get refferals. I have now reached 400 clicks and not one real referral (my sister-in-law joined because she thought she had to to see my site. She did not stick with it or go premium.) I was just wondering if this is common or if anyone has an average number of clicks before they actually get a referral.

I notice that you have no lead capture system in place on your site. You really should create or find a plr product to use as a freemium that will entice people to give you their email address. Even with low quality traffic, if you can capture some leads, you can start sending them follow up emails that can walk them through the process of getting started with WA or any other offer and maybe convert them into a sign-up or sale.

All of the traffic that has been on your site is now lost forever and gives you zero chance at a sale. If you had an attractive irresistible offer that captured attention and leads, you would be building an asset and not waste all of the effort spent on gaining that traffic. :)

How do I create an email sign up?

You will need to sign up for an auto responder service like aweber get response pure leverage or any other of the ones on the market :)

Thanks is aweber free?

They have a free one month trial or $1 . something like that. Then like twenty bucks per month for first five hundred subscribers I think

Hey Tkallstar some awesome information for you here.

Here is a webinar about conversions and google analytics https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/increase-conversions-with-google-analytics

If you are going to dig into analytics, I suggest you watch all of the webinars from Jay (about GA, there are a few of them). Now that you have traffic and clicks, you need to understand where they're coming from

It's a step in the right direction, but it looks like you are going to have to do some tweaking (not twerking).

Have you created a custom sign up form for your visitors. Once I did that my number of sign-ups increased significantly.

No I haven't I am not real sure how to be honest. I was going to wait for my site to get more developed. What do I offer? Alerts to new posts/pages?

What is the source of your traffic? Where is it coming from? If it was targeted search traffic, then you need to really start looking at your content. If it was from another "source" than chances are the source of your traffic is low quality (example, buying clicks is a horrible idea unless it is through Google Adwords or BingAds.com).

How do you find that out? And no I haven't paid for anything besides WA and a domain, no traffic boosters or ads or anything.

Do you have Google Webmaster Tools or Google Analytics set-up? Those would tell you the source of your traffic and if your website is getting indexed.

It says I do not have any clicks through searches? I also have 41 links that are linked to my site. the top one has 11 links to my page and I havent even ever heard of the site. Also I have like 35 items that say errors?

I just put a pic of the errors

Not all traffic is created equal, traffic needs to be targeted

Hey Trevor,

With any Affiliate program if you don't see results, then you need to look at the source of the traffic first. You should have many referrals with 400 clicks if the people are well informed and ready to start building an online business. I would expect from a relevant and informed audience that you would have at least 100 referrals.

So, my first question is about your website and your traffic. Who are your website visitors that you are sending to WA? How did they find your website? What are they searching for?

Let us know what your website is and we can give you some feedback. There's obviously a disconnect from your website to when you send folks to WA as they are not interested in signing up. The answer here is to figure out what your visitors are expecting when they click on your affiliate link on your website, and what WA is.
