Fix Your Image Edit Feature
I recently saw a member's post with an image of a person standing on a balcony at sunrise, holding a coffee mug and looking out over calm water and distant mountains. It had a closed laptop sitting on a small round table beside a potted plant, giving the scene a quiet, reflective work-from-anywhere feel.
What stood out to me was the coffee cup and the steam from it. It is one of my quirks that makes me want to jump in and correct instantly because AI tends to exaggerate and add it. I see it all the time on AI images, and it's something that I wish it handled better because it does such a great job on everything else.
Great thing, we have the tools within the Wealthy Affiliate Image Studio to help us!
Anyway
If you want to fix this, here is how.
Select the image that needs the steam defeated and click the edit button.

Provide instructions on what you want to see, what you want to change, or what you want removed. The prompt I used.
Remove the visible steam rising from the coffee cup so the beverage appears still and natural, keeping all other elements, lighting, colors, and composition exactly the same.
Now click Generate

This is the result. I cropped it so it shows the edit to the coffee cup, and the steam has been removed. Nothing else was changed.
Disclaimer- I am not picking on this member or their image specifically, but it did provide an excellent example of what I call the steam fiasco.
Here is another example.

Same prompt:
Remove the visible steam rising from the coffee cup so the beverage appears still and natural, keeping all other elements, lighting, colors, and composition exactly the same.
The Result:

Maybe it is just me, but without the steam, it is much better, and my nervous tic that is caused by the steam fiasco is solved. It is not necessary to fix it or waste AI credits, but I am driven to do so by internal instinct. I also believe it provides a more realistic image created by AI.

Don't let the steam get to you! lol
Good suggestions and there are still some factors related to generative creation of images that make them look fake.
I have noticed that larger photos with "more" people in them, often times change the look of all the people whereas one person typically works great, two is usually pretty accurate, and beyond that I think it is still too far ahead in terms of the processing power that we are allotted within these platforms.
With quirks, we can always make edits to improve upon these things to create the perfect image. ;)
Micheal you'll are way ahead of me in knowledge and concepts. I'm still grappling with basic. So showoff, that's the best way for me to see and experience the possibilities.
Just saying ^_^ Cheers and thank you, I appreciate everything you are showing and teaching me.
Thanks for the instructions on how to edit. Theyβre very useful indeed.

How interesting!
I hadn't noticed, but for my latest blog I asked Bing Create for an image and got 4 similar images with notebooks and a cup of coffee. 3 of the 4 images have steam coming out of it. I hadn't paid any attention to it. I won't be able to help notice it from now on.
lol, Your Welcome!!!!
