Ranting...Not Me This Time

A few days ago, my daughter commandeered my tablet because her laptop is messed up. The hinge is not letting her open it when it is closed and not letting her close it while it is open. So now she uses it as a "desktop" here at home, but she still needs something for her classes (remember when all they needed was a pencil and some paper?), so she's been using the tablet at school.
Anyway, few days ago I was thinking of the up-coming Halloween festivities (how can you miss them, right?). and thought it might be cool to show you all this cemetery that's just a stone's throw away (about a mile and a half) from our house. Since my daughter has been using the tablet, which is the only camera available for us, AND she walks past the cemetery everyday to and from school, I asked her to take some photos for me. Turns out she couldn't get good photos from the tablet, but since her boyfriend has a camera on/in(?) his cell phone, he took the photos. Thanks Noe (her b-friend)!
The cemetery has been around since the 1800s, when this town and the surrounding areas were established by a handful of settlers. If you are a fan of the old western movies and can remember how a lot of the old desert scene cemeteries look, you'll probably think this is one of them.

It used to be great fun growing up during Halloween, to make a trip through the cemetery. The first time I took my daughters through, they were somewhat impressed with the timelines on the tombstones. So that is what I asked my kid to take photos of. When she asked if I'd put them up yet and I said "No", well that's when the ranting started. In my defense though, she's been keeping me busy herself, what with having to get ready for her job next week. And food! Always wants FOOD! >; )
OK! NOW THE RANTING WILL COME FROM ME! I can't get the images to load onto the page! I'll keep working at it!
Got this one by "drag and drop". Sorry that it's too big. It's not the oldest date, but the gentleman was buried with his horse, so it's the most interesting of the bunch. Since it is the only one that is so large, it is the one that vandals go after. It's been knocked over many times by punks. I'll try to get the others sized correctly for you all.
