If it's training credits then click on your tiny icon top right and select Credit Dashboard. Then move the slider across to Exchange Credits for Cash.

If it's for referrals then it should be paid automatically, send a private message to Kyle.

I am hearing different answers at WA about Amazon Associates links. Please tell me if I get a link where the product is not Sold and Fulfilled by Amazon, but is sold by a Sell

Simple way to determine is if the link contains your affiliate ID number. If the link has it, you'll be paid, if it doesn't than it is not an affiliate link.

Thanks Robert. Such clarity.

You didn't tell me how you lined up your Amazon banner links on your gamer page without using plugin or containers. Can you please help me on this.

See you @ the Top!

--Michael

I think I understand your question. I believe the answer is yes.

One thing I have found out is that if the buyer cancels their order, which has happened to me, you do not get the commission. The commission is credited when the item ships.

Thanks Michael. Hey I just blogged on it after looking back at my old Amazon statements.

See you @ the Top!

--Michael

I don't fully understand your question! If the link is not sold via Amazon than it's not an Amazon affiliate link thus no commission from Amazon, in fact it's not even an Amazon link. Even if the seller is an Amazon seller, Amazon has nothing to do with you unless you applied to be an affiliate of Amazon, right! Unless I'm still missing something. And if the link has nothing to do with Amazon then you need to get a commission from the seller, right!
Good luck, cheers!

Maybe its not clear Gerald. Firstly, I am accepted into the Amazon Associate program and have access to the links and stats etc.

I was told earlier in chat sessions that I need to choose Amazon items that are Fulfilled by Amazon. I have done that, but one product I want to sell is only being sold by one of Amazon's Sellers and I assume the seller also fulfills it, since it does not mention who fulfills the order on the product detail page.

I want to know If I will be paid commission by Amazon if that item sells through the link on my site, given that Amazon allowed me to get the link form the platform in the first place.

To clarify your points: The Amazon item is sold on Amazon by one of their sellers, and Amazon gives me an affiliate link to let me sell it. I am pretty sure the the seller does not pay me commission directly. I only have a contract with Amazon as their Associate.

I hope that explanation makes it clearer. If not someone who knows really needs to clear up all our thinking. I am having the attorney study the agreement soon.

Thanks for your efforts.

See you @ the Top!

OK Michael, now I fully understand what you are saying.I believe sometimes it doesn't say anything whether it's fulfilled by Amazon or seller, then I assumed it's fulfilled by seller.
Amazon charge sellers 2 fees, 1 for referral and 1 for fulfillment so I guess it makes sense they can't pay you if they are not also fulfilling the product.
I opted out of Amazon because
1. you apply to be an affiliate
2. only and only after you sold a product then Amazon will look at whether to approve your application or not, real pain.
So I work hard to sell a product and Amazon can turn around and say I'm not approved thus wasting all the time and effort.
Sorry I don't know the exact answer you are looking for. Guess you have to go to Amazon for that.
Cheers!

I didn't realize this, Gerald. I know Amazon pays low, but I didn't know that they find ways not to pay at all. Do you mind sharing? What kind of affiliates do you find more success with? I have several with Commission Junction and Link Share, but I'm still not making any money.

They fell over themselves to approve me. They can see on my history I spent close to $40K on personal orders with Amazon Prime this year and have been with them since 2003. I will let you know how it goes. I am also looking at microsoftaffiliates.com

See you @ the Top!

If it help Gwendolyn, I just got approved by http://ShareaSale.com one month after I applied, but its too soon to say how they are.

See you @ the Top!

Can I get back to you tomorrow? It's almost 6 am here in Vancouver, Canada and I'm heading for bed...
Talk to you tomorrow, cheers!

Michael, with that kind of spending you need at least 3 jobs to pay all the bills. lol

The percentage Amazon pays for affiliates is rather low, but we need to consider the potential volume of product sales they make available to us. Plus, the way I understand it, if you show your "value" to them, the percentage paid increases. I have developed several websites in the past, and the only success I ever had was with Amazon affiliate links. Another way you can increase the amount you make is to market higher priced items. You just need to find the right balance and get the customers in the door with good SEO techniques.

Well, I bought a iMacs and MacBooks on behalf of friends in this year, but Amazon sees it as one good spending customer, so they always send me perks.

LOL.

See you @ the Top!

John, 4% - 6% is pretty good for not have to carry any inventory. Amazon does all the heavy lifting IMO.

They are also pretty easy sales and high conversion rates, but I will blog on that next.

Thanks for your comments.

See you @ the Top!

I'm with you 100% on that statement.

Thanks! I look forward to hearing more from you.

I'm back Gwendolyn. Please read the blog I just posted that should answer some of your questions. For further clarity you can pm me, Cheers!

WA is an amazing place to be. We can LIKE posts and training etc, but when an amazingly dedicated and helpful member does some act of kindness for us,

Hi TechniSmart. I think that is a great idea. You can certainly submit a feature request.

I have an existing site in HTML and want to redesign it in WP on WA. I want to retain the sidebar menu and top menu and background. colors. Guess I want to clone my own work. H

Hi TechniSmart. I think you will have to build it from scratch in Wordpress. You may be able to copy across some styles and paste into your style.css page in your Wordpress site. At the very minimum, I think you will need to find a theme and create a child theme to get started.

Thanks emerald860, I guessed as much. I have all the code for the existing site www.camsxm./org Could be the sidebar menu be styled the same? I only want the background repeating about 80% transparent fluid width. How to do it in Wordpress camsxm.siterubix.com

Thanks for your time.

PS: I followed you.

Thank you for the follow, TechniSmart! I actually have my sites hosted elsewhere as I have a client or two so I am not familiar with siterubix. As for the sidebar picture at 80%, I think you could make that adjustment in style.css child theme.

Hello emerald860,
No it's just the blue sidebar menu I need to replicate in WP.
It doesn't even have to be exactly the same, but I understand CSS gives a lot of control to those who can code in it. Maybe you can just recommend a theme that has a ready-made flexible sidebar menu I can color?
Thanks in advance.

Michael

I googled www.themematcher.com has anyone got experience with this? https://youtu.be/qstiIAMTwYQ

No but I'll check it out...
