My 2 cents on making money online!

Time to share whatever I know about Internet Marketing.

Disclaimer – Whatever I say is either right or wrong, it’s simply my perception of reality.

Choices:

1.Physical products (PP), or

2.Digital products (DP), or

3.Both

4.You can sell other people’s products or make your own.

5.Potential of selling site for good money down the road – any sites that has a record of consistent monthly income can be sold for some bucks.

6.The key – find the right product(s) for the right niche market (audience.)
a.Takes a lot of research and testing
b.In short – test-test-test and scale like crazy once you found a winner.
c.Some people get it right with just a few attempts, others like me takes a bit longer!

Niches

1.One of the big 3 – health, wealth, and personal developments
a.The saying goes “it’s better to be a small fish in a big pond following the flow!”

2.A specific niche close to your heart

3.Top marketers say – it’s almost impossible to saturate any markets as they are huge and growing every day especially with DP where you can sell worldwide.

Wealth niche – IM, I’m quite new to this myself

1.I have signed up with JVZoo, and Warrior+Plus – getting approval can be easy with most sellers when you know what to say (only have 255 characters to sell yourself with JVZoo.)

2.Also signed up with ClickBank – no approval required, however I find their IM products a bit dated.

3.I didn’t bother with any PP affiliates as I can make a lot more via drop ship.

Some school of thoughts:

1.(DP) SEO - Authority site; content rich, keywords, backlinks, etc. for ranking – WA
a.Will work – a lot of work and can take time.

2.(DP) Use Facebook fan page to drive traffic to site, build a lot of fans and use PPE ads. (Large fan based for organic traffic.)
a.Will work – cost can be quite high $1,000 to $1,500 to build fans.
b.Once you reach 8k to 10k fans start PPE ads and run as many as possible viral contents, massive organic traffic is one key to success.
c.Headlines must provoke or evoke to cause people to click on link.
d.Can use curated viral contents, just follow the rules, maximum 40% of original contents, plus always give 120% credits to the original source. However won’t get Google rankings though they are OK with the approach.
e.Start having some income from Google AdSense by then.
f.Google doesn’t like ads for affiliates on these sites.

3. (DP- new product launch) SEO – buying backlinks and rankings, news press release – PBN, etc.
a.Will work very fast but if caught by Google, they will ban account and site instantly.
b.Cost around $70-$100 to get to page one almost instantly or in a few days.

4.(DP+PP) – List building – use freebies (giveaways) and/or contest – squeeze page.
a.Will work – either takes a while to build a list from organic traffic or cost money to drive traffic.
i.The saying, everyone on the list will bring in $1/month revenue. Ex. if you have a list of 500 then they should bring in $500 per month, a list of 10,000 will yield $10,000/month, etc.
b.Can be quite costly buying traffic to build a list fast.

5.Affiliates programs or CPA
a.(PP) Not easy to make good money, commission is very low 5-10%
b.(DP) Can earn from 30% to 100% commissions, sometimes recurring monthly ex. WA. Can make good money; have to compete directly with some top marketers.
c.(DP – new product launch) – can get yourself to page one by using press news release (cost $70-$100), again competing with some top marketers.

6.(PP) – Drop ship (using arbitrage) - (typically markup from 30-100%)
a.Free + ship
b.Penny + ship
c.Markup + free ship
d.Markup + ship

7.(PP) – Stock to sell
a.Carrying cost can be high; can end up with some obsolete inventory over time, etc.
b.Sell & fulfilled via Amazon – charges 25% to 35% depending on weight and type of product. They also charge for storage, etc.
i.Pros – push your product to top 100 sellers via paid traffic and giveaways thereafter you get Amazon organic traffic. Can make a lot of money with the right product.
ii.Cons – money tied up for a few months until product starts selling well + a lot of rules to follow or you are out!
iii.Ex. in general – product + freight cost 35%, Amazon 35%, profit 30%. When successful 5+ figures a month is possible from only 1 product.
iv.Always start selling in US, then UK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, etc.
v.Always test product before buying bulk.
c.Use a fulfillment center – lower cost ones are around $3-4 per item
d.Ship from home, lower cost but no more family life…

8.Marketing
a.Facebook + Instagram – good for testing product, once you find a winner starts scaling.
b.Other social Medias.
c.YouTube – very low cost and one of the fastest growing platforms, easier to get viral traffic.
d.PPC – Google, Bing+Yahoo – can be costly depending on niche and keywords.
e.Buy bulk clicks for $85-$100 per 100 niches specific quality clicks.
f.News press release.
g.Plus others that I am missing here.
