Hi Terry,

I would drop both the Instagram and Pinterest and keep Facebook and add YouTube, Twitter and Google+ to my arsenal.

These four are the biggest social media platforms in the world. YouTube is number 3 in the world and Facebook is number 2 in the world and Google (the search engine) is number 1.

The reason this is is because of the engagement that these four brings.

YouTube is the most powerful tool for internet marketing. Most people would rather watch a video than to read a blog post.

Facebook works because of the constant comments, likes, and shares. Every time you post or share on Facebook it also gets posted to your Twitter account.

And--each time you post a video on YouTube, It will also get posted to your Twitter account and your Google+ account.

You can add Pinterest and Instagram later as you get more traffic and more income.

And furthermore, you can also connect Facebook and Twitter with your email auto responder through your RSS Feed--so, everytime you post on your blog, it will also get posted to your Facebook Page and to your Twitter Page as well as your email subscribers.

I do this all the time and it makes my life so much easier.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Woww thank u. Im going to look into this when im done with training....

Good question. I am not quite there in the training, but from a users point of view, I like Instagram the least. Love Pintrest, most women I know do. Facebook is a time hog, but would keep it. I agree with Micheal. Use them all unless your market audience doesn't use one of them.

Lbath5 - You said it.

TCoxen best you establish your audience profiles and personas, and demographics.

Women favour some social media platforms {or rather one may say Large Percentage (60 to 80% estimated) of Pinterest users are women}.

Young women however favour Instagram and this is a trend worldwide. However this trend may be good news for some, and not for others. So what to keep/drop can be tricky, or maybe not!

Pinterest, then facebook

2

I use Pinterest and Facebook, not Instagram. Easy choice. Cheers Kev

2

I am not familiar with instagram. - why would you drop it?

2

I have never used Instagram, just never appealed to me. Cheers Kev

2

I would use the one where my audience hangs out.

3

Why would you want to drop any of them?

2

I don't have time for them all

1

or maybe should I make time for them all?

2

Absolutely....interlink them so that you can do one post for all.

3

Agree with Michael - Social media IS the audience, and will only grow larger with time!

Pinterest

2

Yeah ,I too don't see The benefit from pinterest

2

I would drop Pinterest. For me, I get more traffic on Facebook and you have to have a personal Facebook Page in order to have a Business Facebook page.

Sorry - that was meant to b facebook!
