I am looking more into working with someone who can help me with my journey at WA and signing up for the Premium deal.

Hello from Nottingham! I am not sure what you are asking to be honest? As you have now created a starter account, the person whose link you signed up through is your personal mentor. When you upgrade to premium, they will receive the commission. You can't simply choose another person.
The only way you could do that would be to delete this account and start again using a different email address, signing up through another person's affiliate link.
If you are not sure who your coach is, click on the Help Center. Within the "Premium Coaches" box, you will see Kyle and Carson, and possibly another person. The third person is your coach, but if there isn't one, then your coach is Kyle.
As the co-founder of this site, he is incredibly knowledgeable but does receive literally thousands of messages per day, so may be a little slow in responding to you.
It actually doesn`t work like that. You are attached to the member`s link that you clicked on to join Wealthy Affiliate.
But do not despair, we are all here to help each other, so don`t be afraid to ask questions when you have one 🙂

I signed up as the concept of WA sounded interesting, without realising the persons link I used would make them my coach if I go premium.

Yes you will and can succeed.
My referral is a great guy but he is super, super busy. I have no need to get In touch with him, as I mentioned above we all help each other.
There will come a point not too far in the future you will help as we are helping you. It is all part of helping us all grow too.
There are some super qualified members here to help you..

We can't PM you as you are still a starter member.
We all do help each other here. Honestly you can do this solo.
When you need help we are all there for you 100%.

Some may see it as that but ultimately we all tend to help each other.
Sometimes the person who referred you may not get back to you as they are super busy. So that's where we all come in.
You may not be my referral but that does not matter. We all do help each other here. You are never left alone to struggle.
If you need help just reach out to us all.
I think Jerry is your Referrer and I know he is super busy. So we help to fill the gaps. As I am sure he has helped my referrals in the past. :)
You are going to be fine here. We got you. Like we are doing right now helping you. Just shout out and we are all here for you.
