I got started with internet marketing 3 years ago and while I'm long past making my first dollar online, I'm here because I want to learn how to build a REAL sustainable business – not just pocket change. I believe that WA is the best place to achieve my goals. I only wish I came here sooner instead of staying lost in the wilderness : ) Like many WA members have said, this community feels "safe" which is a rare find in the world of IM.

Hi Stephan, great to meet you, be here in WA now, and to start building my business. I believe I can earn income here and really hope that there is no ceiling on it provided I work hard and allow myself to be teachable. My goal is to first replace my current income and then expand from there.

I agree, this feels like a home of sort.
I have not contributed a lot but gained massive.
Now many, many years after becoming a member I am at a point in my life when I start to feel that I can participate more and contribute more.
This would not have been possible if the WA team didn't have this soft and relax attitude that they have. They allow things to grow at it's own pace.
I believe they truly love humanity. It shines through as I see it in everything they do. So they have my respect for sure!
More power to all who take part in the WA family!

Hi Karen, Good question. No, you don't have to follow as many people as possible. I find it best just to follow those who share good insights and/or have had some level of financial success. There are many people who fit that criteria but here are a few for starters:

Have you started to go through the training? Everything is explained in there. In short, SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization." It's basically the process of optimizing your content/website in order to rank high in Google searches to gain traffic to your site.

Have you started to go through the training Dely? Everything you need to know is explained there (start with the Green button on the left-hand side). Your job is to write about a subject that you know a lot about and/or take great interest in and make it relatable to people.
For example, say you're reviewing a crock pot. You might say something like "I used to use this one made by brand x but the timer broke after a year so I switched to this one instead." This isn't at all like Facebook where people post every single detail about their lives. Moreover, you can also use an alias if you prefer that. Does that make sense?

Hi. first of all thank you for this chance right now because I'm having a hard time looking for work. So this is kinda up my alley. I just want to tell you a little bit about myself. I have parents who are native speakers and can read and write spanish and I know pretty well how to write and can practice more I am not going to use google translate to quickly change it I will use it and change it a little and show my parents who are native speakers could this work

It's best to create a new email address for your website business (and it's free). So, "esdras@yourdomainname.com" instead of "esdras@gmail.com". It also looks much more professional. You can then just forward any incoming email to your regular email address if you wish.

Oh, you mean this question, right?: Can we use the same keyword for multiple images? Ideally, alt tags should be as relevant to the image as possible.

1. That they're no shortcuts. Some strategies might work in the short-term but eventually burn you in the long term. Don't buy into any of the pie in the sky, "earn 10K next month by doing nothing" lies. Or schemes like getting tons of traffic by following some SEO trick.
2. That constantly jumping from one biz opportunity to the next will get you nowhere fast. It's a phenomenon known as "shiny object syndrome" in IM circles. I never thought it would happen to me but it did. So definitely watch out for that. Stay with one thing until you become successful at it and only then think about exploring other things.
3. That taking advice from people who don't know what they're doing is a giant waste of your time. You're in WA now, so you should be okay ;-)
4. That getting hung up on the little stuff like having the perfect logo, color-scheme, theme, etc isn't worth it. People waste too much time on stuff like that and not enough time on more important things, like creating awesome blog posts.
5. That learning, while necessary, isn't the same as doing work. People spend too much time absorbing information and not enough time working on their business. My advice is to restrict your learning to things you NEED to learn now in order to move forward - not stuff that you may/may not need to know 6 months from now.
Those are a few off the top of my head! Hope that helps!
