If you followed and read my previous post "$1070 Profit In One Day" then you will realise that the majority of the profit comes from literally one sale that made me $1000 commission in August and the reason I was talking to you in that post about the value of selling quality high ticket items.

This sale also now helped me to record my biggest profit in one month since joining WA and the reason why I am documenting it here for the sake of measuring my progress over time and to provide you with some inspiration.

My online marketing inspiration all got to do with wanting to have freedom. The money is not that important to me, but it is the freedom that money can buy me and the time it can buy me with being able to spend as much time as I want with my family that is living abroad.

I desperately want to be in that position where money does not prevent/restrict me from the quality time I would like to spend with family, especially my dad that is not getting any younger.

The target I have set for myself is $7000 profit per month, so I definitely still got some distance to go and that figure needs to be hit consistently in order for me to feel confident that I can quit my full-time job. I know in my goal setting I put £7000 is what I would be happy with earning, but $7000 profit before tax deduction is the target I feel I need to hit before quitting my full-time job.

It will be interesting to read in the comments section how much it is you think you need to earn in profit (before tax) consistently on a month to month basis before you will feel comfortable quitting your full-time job? Do share in the comments section :) Also feel free to let me know if you think I can get away with earning less before quitting my full-time job.

I wish you all the very best of success in your online business. Keep on silencing your critics by becoming an online business sensation! Positivity and self-belief is what dictates our future! Not the voices of critics.

Best wishes, Schalk! :)

Ps. I know some are probably going to ask what product I am selling that is making a $1000 commission. Due to competition I know many affiliates are sworn to silence and for that reason I will probably not answer it in the comments section either. However, if you are really curious, feel free to send me a pm and I may just tell you :)

That is great I would use the money to really branch out. Hire writers, vas etc. And maybe look up setting up some funnels etc. Really cast the net out and I think if done right your goal will not only be achieved but it will be replaced each time by something bigger and better. What I make from blogging now is kind of laughable compared maybe 50 a month but fortunately I do OK from eBay sales but I would expect the more I develop my websites the more money they will make me. Guess will be same for you

Hi Alex. Good suggestions indeed, however outsourcing for me I feel is a problem due to the fact that I write my posts many times from the viewpoint of personal experience and I feel by outsourcing articles my personality, identity and experience will be lost. It will then feel to me that my website is no longer really my own - as it lost some of it's identity. The thing is my site is about teaching others how to make money online but also to do with telling them about my own personal struggles and pitfalls that needs to be avoided on this online journey.

Also do writers you hire have the online marketing experience that you have and can they write from a personal experience point of view and if the answer is yes then it is from their personal experience and no longer from my personal experience.

Maybe I am overthinking it massively and holding myself back thinking like that. Maybe I should go sit down and think that sometimes posts can literally just be written from a factual point of view that simply requires research.

You got the cogs going. I will go and rethink my position on this.

Glad that the eBay business is going well. I am sure over time the blog articles/website will catch up too.

Best wishes!

Thanks for sharing. Your success is encouraging.
As for making $7k in a month, that is a great goal that I know you will achieve. For me, after a lot of hacking with the budget, I'm looking at $4k (but knowing that the ultimate amazing freaken awesome goal is $10K!)

$10k profit a month will be so awesome :) Wishing you the very best of success!

Best wishes!

That's awesome, Schalk! Congratulations!

Personally, I am aiming for £2,000 pcm profit as I got laid off from work earlier in the year. It is my personal choice not to go back to the "rat race" and my other half's income is enabling me to make that choice - I'm quite lucky in that respect. ;)

I also do not want to think about money but rather enjoy quality time with loved ones as well as getting to know myself at a spiritual/unconscious level and the things that I enjoy/want to do in life.

I wish you continued success, Schalk.

Maria :)

That's some great reflective thoughts. Wishing you the very best of success reaching your goals :)

Best wishes!

" Keep on silencing your critics by becoming an online business sensation!" Catchy phrase, I like it. I like your positive persistence. 7k per month, profit seems hard to reach, but you are getting there. I need around that to consider this a "full-time" gig! Not to mention more than that to survive. You are not alone. Keep it up! I AM curious to know what your site is, so I can check it out. I'm new here, so I don't have links up yet, but I'm working on that through some "affiliate marketing" sites I learned of today.

$7000 is a good "stretch" goal. I'm sure you'll get there.

As for goals before I can quit, my husband and I were involuntary retired from our paper route, which didn't pay all that well, anyway(but Christmas tips were sweet), and we're on SSI disability, so for me, it's around $3000/month consistently, but that's just my first goal. I'd like to see how high my income can go. :)

Ok so that is $3000 a month after tax in your pocket, correct? Good luck with that goal :)

Many thanks! Much appreciated! I will pm you my website name.

Best wishes!

That's the idea, yes. Again, it's a baseline to start from. Once I hit it once go up to $5000/month, after taxes.

Understood. Nice goal setting. Wishing you the very best with reaching your goals.

Thanks! Have a great day!

Woot woot!! Awesome and congratulations is in order!

Ideally I think a comfortable number would be whatever the number is that you are making at your full-time job.

Another consideration is how much you NEED to live! It all depends upon your bills, debts, etc. and what you are comfortable with.

Yes, I need to be able to stick around £3000 in my pocket after tax per month. Maybe a bit more actually as my pension is also £400 a month. So after the deduction of pension I think I need around £3000 in my pocket.

This is one thing about online marketing when you quit your full-time job though. And that is to remember there is no pension. The work also matches what I put in so you are looking at around £800 for pension per month which is a very good pension.

So if I want to take into consideration the work contribution too for pension I probably need around £3800 in my pocket per month and I will then have to put away my own pension money of £800 per month so to speak.

So seems like £4k per month profit after tax should more or less be the target. I forgot to take into consideration the pension. in some of my previous calculations.

Brilliant👍🏻
I am aiming for £3000 per month so I can replace my full-time income and concentrate more on my website and future websites. That would be an ideal starter point for me, I've got a bit of a way to go yet as I have just started out lol.
Reading your post and many others here on WA gives encouragement and drive.
Well done again and wish you success.

Many thanks! Much appreciated! Are you talking about £3000 per month in your pocket or are you talking about £3000 revenue? I guess you talking about £3000 in your pocket. Yes that is pretty much the amount I need to replace before I can quit my full-time job.

I will feel safe with around £3500 in my pocket each month consistently as online can be a bit unpredictable from month to month.

I think this means roughly around £6k or so revenue per month maybe.

Yeah, mate. £3000 in the pocket consistently, that's the target, just need to keep soldiering on and learning.
Cheers, all the best

Congratz!

Many thanks! Much appreciated! Wishing you the very best of success!
