Amazon earnings mystery, higher price than expected.

One of the items someone bought through my Amazon affiliate links last week (on the day I had 7 sales) was a pair of women's shoes. There are different colors and styles in the same line of shoes that show up all together in one listing on Amazon. The price ranges up to $39.99 depending on the style/color selected. I was expecting the highest price would be the $39.99 since it showed only one pair was ordered. Today, they finally shipped! It shows the price was $99.99 and my commission is $7.00! I am so happy, but confused. If only one pair was ordered and the most expensive pair is $39.99, how could the sale be $99.99?

I don't know. I would think if they ordered more it should show up...the ordered items have shown up for a week now. This item just didn't ship until today. It is a mystery.

Does your Amazon report show this under ordered items?

It shows one pair ordered there, and under Earnings it shows they cost $99.99 and my commission is $7.00
