The Jump You've Dreamed Of
I don’t know about any of you, but I really like Steve Harvey. He makes me laugh and I love that in a man. He may not be the most eloquent speaker but he tells you like it is and I appreciate that as well. So, last week, I saw this video and he hit is spot on. I’ve been meaning to share it (ok, so I’m a procrastinator). I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It’s short (just over a minute).

I know this isn't what some of you want to hear but the truth doesn't always make you feel good nor is it easy to follow. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it and everyone would be rich.
I've taken many leaps of faith in my life. Being on that edge is terrifying and there were times that I had to close my eyes and, like Nike says, Just Do It. I can say, in all honesty, I've haven't been sorry for any of those jumps.
Just something to think about and my two cents.

You're right, Heather and us woman are more durable than we realize. We only "get it" after a couple of those leaps and land on our feet.

He can be crude and socially unacceptable at times but he just cracks me up. Sense of humor is one of the things I've always looked for in a man. A guy has to have a sense of humor to live with me.......you can take that however you want to. lol. In this case, he has it right too.

I can certainly attest to needing a sense of humor to put up with you Deb, but then I do find a strong Women attractive, and given my nature it allows me to be myself, as well as good convo and debate.
The notion that Steve acts socially unacceptable at times, well you know my stance on the "acceptable" thingy :).
I find him "genuine, a no Bull kind of guy, my kind of Friend. Often times he just voices what many don't have the courage to say.
As far as I'm concerned, "socially acceptable" is overrated, and it's people like Steve that makes us stop and think a little for ourselves :)
Then again, that's just my way of seeing it all:)

Yeah, well, it does take a unique man to put up with a strong woman. You know it pains me to admit you're right :-) but you are right about Steve. He tells it like it is, he's hilarious and yet has a good heart. Good combo.
I really liked this clip because he lets you know that YOU must take action and it's not always easy. Too many people these days want it but don't want to put in any effort. That's a whole other story and I don't want to get my blood pressure up this early. :-)

When I had to bring 3 little ones with me in that leap, it did require more thought. I still weigh the pros and cons today but quicker to leap. Sometimes I simply do it to get out of my own comfort zone. Keeps us young ya know. lol.

Great video and post. I honestly haven't jumped yet. Joining WA was a step closer to the edge, and I tell myself everyday that I can succeed. However, I haven't yet convinced myself. That little bit of self doubt keeps me from jumping, guess I'm to used to the comfort zone. Hope you all have a wonderful and productive day.
You've gone Premium. So, what's the worst that could happen now? You have a HUGE parachute here. I've learned that you never grow in the comfort zone. I didn't say that in a couple of those leaps I had a push..... Close your eyes and do it when you're not thinking about it.

I was going to ask you a crafting question Debbie.If a catalogue recommends 350 gsm mirri card to work with,can I use a bit lighter card.What would you do in a case like this.
I'm assuming that you're making cards. I've never used that but I know that it is pretty thick. Depending on what part of the card you'll use it on, you can go lighter but I wouldn't go too light unless you have something else to back it with. I use a couple layers on the tops of my cards usually.
