Give me a room full of miserable people these are the people that are upset with their situation and are ready for change, I challenge you to try to sell a business opp to a room full of happy satisfied people. The best part is if someone is miserable you just have to stand there and listen to their complaints and when they run out of steam you ask them one simple question, Would You Like To Do Something About That? They will either ask you to tell them more, or they will head for the bar for another drink to drown their sorrows. If they ask for more information you know what to do from there. If they head for the bar they are probably not ready to change and that is fine you know what to do from there.
You should always be carrying business cards on you with your website address and contact info. on it, and anyone within arms reach should get one of them, don't worry about what happens to them after that, most will end up in the garbage. but the one person that contacts you back will make your effort well worth it.
All of the above is related with off line promotions and these methods will at least be conversation starters to get your foot in the door. I personally don't like sitting with someone when the conversation has dried up. You can only talk about the weather so much.
Now moving on to the online world, What a market with half a billion people looking for something everyday of the week, thats incredible, now the problem comes up of coarse how do I tap into that and get traffic to my site when there are so many other websites out there? I will answer that in one word I cant say it loud enough "TITLES" make sure it is relevant to you niche and make it jump off the page, you have got to out title everyone else you don't even worry about the price of your product or opp. if you can get found by the search engines and elsewhere you have to realize that about 80% of the people that are ready to buy that product or service will not shop around for the best price, they are going to see what they want and they are going to buy it.
Back to those titles make sure to use the whole space provided and get rid of the pronouns, use.your descriptive nouns. "bad title" this is the best thing since sliced bread! this title tells the reader nothing. "Good example" Biz Opp. We do The Work, credit & profit to you.
As far as promoting your site it is vital that on each post or page that you fill out everything there in wordpress ,title description, keywords, tags and put in some pictures here and there for the reader. all that info will help the search engines find you. The next biggest way to promote your site is through social media, find groups that are interested in the same niche you are interested in and get involved with those groups don't blast them with ads but make a comment on 2 or 3 other peoples posts and than post your own add. When done move to the next group and do the same thing, you don't have to spend the whole day on this.
The next place I use to post my site is on classifieds, Craigslist, Backpage, Adland Pro there are hundreds of classifieds out there to join and post on. These promotional sites are all free to post on, you can pay for ads on each of then and you will probably get better success that way but you do not have to do that at all. There are thousands of ways out there to advertise your sites on just start at one place and build your network from there, remember we we are trying to build a long term business here.
Know what you want, educate your self about it, ask for help with it and become an expert on it. You just might learn something along the way.
