Writing Reviews? - Don't Do This Mistake!

Dear Friends,

I am just sharing this incident which might be helpful to a few people.

Last week I was writing a product review for an MMO (make Money Online) product called EZ Bay Payday.

I did my research... Listened to the sales video, read the sales page, read other reviews, taken hints (Listed the pros, cons, detailed information on the red flags, how it works), etc. It consumed nearly 3-4 hours.

The price is not on the sales page and to get the price I need to enter my email address. This is the first time I come across this scenario and so far the product price will be on the sales page.

After finishing all my research I entered my another (secondary) email to get the pricing details. When I entered my details, I received the below message...

This product is inactive and no longer for sale.

Oops! If I would have entered and checked the pricing before doing my research it would have saved me a lot of time.

Some of you might know I am planning to write one post daily.

It was nearly 9.00 pm when I realized I did a big mistake and I don't want to break my streak of writing one post daily. Again I started another review and finished it at 11.55 pm.

Many of you might be smart enough to check the price before starting a review if it asks you to enter your email before letting you know the price. That's great and for those who are not aware of this scenario please check whether the product is available for sale before writing your review.

I hope this post might be helpful for a few people.

Much Success!

Paul

Thanks for sharing Paul.
Darren :)

Thanks!

Wow, I wouldn't have even thought about that and would have done the same, so thank you so much for sharing your experience, will save me a lot of wasted valuable time : )

Thanks a lot!

Yes, Paul, that happens a lot. That is why you have to check everything. Or that the product is closed and no longer for sale also. Some products are done by a timing thing. One time offer, then offer again two or three months later.

Watch out for that. That would not be worth it to write a product review if they offer products once in a while because of a clock countdown thing only good for so many days then it's taken down. Dislike that.

Do your due diligence first. Make sure you do them all.

I have a checklist that I go through for a product review and on that checklist is check price list, check if any upsells, and exactly at what price( low for high ticket sales).

It might be helpful if you had a checklist like for every one of those product reviews.

Glad you learned from that lesson. Thanks for the reminder of what we need to watch out for.

Thanks a lot for your valuable advice! Will implement it!

Thanks for sharing, Paul.

Thanks!

Thanks for what is a very important time saving, piece of information. Jim

Thanks Jim!

I had that happen to me a couple of weeks ago. It may sound silly but I went ahead and did a review on it because if I am getting emails for it I was under the impression they were getting ready to launch it again with new information.

But I won't make that mistake again either.

Laura

I am also keeping those details. Thanks for your comment!

Sorry that happened to you.
Thanks for sharing this helpful information.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the information.

Thanks a lot!

Thank you Paul for sharing this helpful information much appreciated

I did not know this and yes it would save a lot of time so thank you for saving me time by letting me know to check this first.

You still have a review if you want to take it on because you have found a BIG RED FLAG.

This could help many visiting your website.

Just a thought as you have done all that research.

Jennifer

Thanks a lot! Since the product is no longer for sale, I don't think it's worth writing a review that's the reason I didn't write it.

Oh

Thank you for sharing

Have a great week

Jennifer

Thanks a lot! Wishing you the same!

You are most welcome Paul and thank you much appreciated

Jennifer

GOD Bless!

Aaaah thank you

Stay blessed yourself Paul

Firesale scams, the new bump and grab way of picking as many pockets and then vanishing before the cops show up as possible. I see a lot of these popping up, they sell for like X number of copies or 3 days only etc.. Sometimes they pay affiliates to be able to use them again in the future, some even leave the affiliates high and dry.

If a site says Limited to X number copies, or for 3-7 days only steer clear, no legit business plans their going out of business and no entrepreneur in their right mind says I only want to earn so many dollars and then shut down sales.

This is likely what happened here.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I got helpful insights!
