I am a 44 year old mum of two who has had an awakening that I want freedom, I want to have enough energy, time, health and means to pay my bills and fulfil my souls desires. I am currently employed and self employed but strive for the day when I no longer have to trade my time and energy and my soul for money. I love travel and adventure, hiking, climbing mountains and spending quality time with my two children. I have chosen to only work (trade hours and energy for money) in school hours and term time, so this has severely restricted my earning potential through working for others. I am passionate about regaining my mental, physical, financial and spiritual health and hope this endeavour will motivate my love of research and writing and photography to provide great content to help others and give me and my family the freedom to live life to the full.

Superb goals Sara! You have a large network and community here at WA that you can leverage for help and support along the way, myself included.
It all starts with a goal...then is followed by action...then is followed by results. This is going to be how it pans out for you and I can't wait to hear about all of your successes in the days, weeks, and months ahead! :)

To be honest right here, right now, I'd be happy getting my debts back on track. Then getting them paid off. Then my goal is to get my family back to Portugal for a holiday next summer, as we haven't had a holiday for some years. If achieve this within a year I will be ecstatic!. After that the sky is the limit, with my ultimate goal to have no mortgage and be free to travel wherever and whenever I like, whilst being able to teach my two children how to have the same freedom in their lives.

Those are some very achievable goals Sara, and once you reach them, you'll be primed and ready to go beyond. If you stick to the plan and dedicate that amount of time to training and taking action every day, then you are definitely going to start to see some results!

Hi Paul
Thank you so much for your kind offer of help. I abandoned ship and deleted it and decided to continue to the end of level two training without it.
In the end I realised I was not working to my best learning style. I don't do well learning on technology or with step by step. I need it written down and need to know the bigger picture and endgame. Once I had that and knew that, I had a simple website up and running in minutes!
Many Thanks for reaching out it is much appreciated

I am pleased that you had the patience and tenacity to figure it out your way.
When faced with a challenge it is easy to give up and say I can’t do it!
It takes inner strength too look for a different path. One path is no better than another. The best path is the one that gets you where you want to go.
Well done! I salute you!

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".
I know, same thing happened to me when I started.
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.
Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Good Morning Nathaniell
(not sure what time it is where you are but here in uk it is early!!)
Having a Niche is not my problem, I have 9 Niches that I would happily, passionately research, write about and promote. So I have decided for my first website to go with organic baby products.
My first problem is the website, I have tried to build it, but there are not images in the media library. Is this because I am not a premium member? Or do I have to source and pay for any images myself?
Also I am based in the UK so should I make my website UK based with Uk companies and affiliates or USA? Or Both? How do I generate traffic to my site depending on which route I go?
I have many more questions but they go beyond where I am at, in the process and training so i'll stick with those two for now.
I look forward to getting your advice, but for now...Coffee.

I'm going to be honest Nathaniell, After waking up at 5am all motivated and raring to build my website and then over the course of four hours being driven to despair and my soul slowly dying, i'm not doing too great.
I am finding the technical aspect of building my first website impossible.
Heres where I am at... I chose a Niche Organic baby Products - Check
Chose a Name - Check
Chose a theme - check
clicked on theme and hated it - check
tried to amend theme - nope
tried to amend theme another way - nope
went into customise and then amend theme and was given an option of four. Found one I loved (Twenty Seventy Theme)
So then I clicked on it, thought I was amending it. It let me amend the Home page. Uploaded a picture and changed the text easily. Then there was no amend options available for the other sections?
I then spent two hours trying different things and thought I'd ask a question, but couldn't find anywhere the 'ask a question tab'?!?
Tried to message you, but of course I have to upgrade to premium for that. Tried to write a blog to get help, but only alowed one blog a day. So I reached out on live chat, only to be directed to youtube!! or some very complicated technical training.
So Is Twenty seventeen available or do I have to be a premium member to use it?
How do I amend my theme once chosen and hated? because at the moment it just directs me to a white error screen?
My son just came downstairs and said Mum I don't think you should do this. It is taking all your time and making you upset and angry. So here I am...
I'm sure in a years time and I have multiple websites, I will laugh and revel in today and its dismay and challenges, but for now, a break!
Hope you can help?
Many Thanks
Sara

So there are 10,000+ themes out there, which is why Live Chat directed you to YouTube. Theme customizations aren't really necessary to make money, and would be impossible to track all of them and provide training, so most people will direct you to theme-maker resources for stuff like that.
Changing a theme is easy though. WordPress Dashboard Tutorial - Themes There is no "best" theme out there - it's all a matter of taste. That being said, I always recommend you start with something simple. White background with black text is the way to go. Choose a simple homepage that displays your blog roll, a top menu, and the sidebar. That's it!
Everything else is pretty much a distraction at this point.
Here's just a few simple themes I found that I like, but there are thousands more out there. 7 Simple Free Wordpress Themes For Newbies Let me know if that works for you Sara!

Yeah I'm going to be honest I abandoned and deleted the whole website in the end and concentrated on watching the training to the end. Think I misunderstood the whole point of the first website building, and thought it was going to be my actual website, wanting beautiful pictures and great content etc. I then got to the end and realised it was just a dummy practice run. So I'll go back now and do a very simple one.
I have some questions about Premium membership. In the training it mentioned there were 'different levels of membership'. So will premium membership see me through to releasing a website that is able to make me money, or am I at training level 3, 4, 5 etc going to be upsold to have to pay extra or for another level in order to reach that goal?
As a ex sales person i'd rather know up front. What is the cancelation policy? Am I tied in for a set period of time or have to give a certain notice period?
I've got to be honest it has been a very stressful 24 hours. I have found the training style and technical jargon difficult. But now I know this I can adapt it to my learning style. I will also take your very good advice to keep things simple.
I have been impressed by the network and the support I have received from them.
Thank you for your advice and time I'm sure it is very precious and I thank you for taking some of it to reply to my despair!

The Premium payment is only one level. $49/month or $359/year. There are not extra levels of payment or restricted content.
The "levels" just refers to the topic of the training. Level 1 is basics. Level 2 is traffic. Level 3 is monetization, etc.
For canceling, you can cancel at any time. If you want to keep your websites live though, you will have to move them to a new host.
Premiums can cancel their subscription at any time in account settings. Do so at least a few days before the expiry date of that monthly or yearly subscription because otherwise it will auto bill.
Click "Account Settings", then "Membership". You will see the Cancel Billing Link under your avatar and details.
A Premium member can cancel and return to WA by logging in to their cancelled account, making the payment from that point on, which will re-activate the subscription, and continue where they left off. If they had an owned domain website and did not move it out, Site Support will recover it on request for up to 6 months after leaving.
Alternatively, if you want to leave, you can choose to host your website somewhere else, and you can still keep your domain at WA. You can choose to move that as well if you want.
If the website is on a paid domain, you will have 30 days after canceling to back it up and/or move it to another hosting service. If it is on Siterubix dot com, best to use the WP import/export tool to backup the content because free sub domains cannot be moved to other hosting but the content can be uploaded elsewhere.
Regarding your website, it's not a "dummy" site at all. You can move your *exact website* to a full .com domain name once you get to that part of the training.
You can change your theme at any point as well, so if you are not happy with your theme, you can swap it out later.
