Improving Blog Writing Skills
The advice given in by Kyle in the Super Affiliate Challenge has been to set goals for ourselves and it appears to be working so far. As a result of implementing the advice for creation of posts, I reckon I am a bit behind the eight ball after one week into Month 2.
Having decided to follow this new direction and get a bit more organised I now have an increased focus! So, I have created 30 keywords for the month, created 12 headings for the 12 posts I intend to make on my website this month.
Now, after having written two posts I am 23% into my word count goal and 17% into my targetted number of posts.
There is still some to go for the month but I do need to get more done, and a bit quicker.
Following Kyle's advice
Is this a good thing to do? Of course it is, he has been in the internet marketing game for quite a number of years and has the runs on the board.
Whilst adopting a new way of doing things will take a lot more time initially, I can see that there is a far stronger scope for me to get the targets done each month, and in fact, I believe that I will be able to increase my goals! No predictions yet though.
What I have noticed is that I have become more focussed within each post. I have found, after writing 2 posts that it is easier to narrow my focus and concentrate on just the one post.
Previously, I would have to stop and write down a new keyword for another post because my mind would wander.
Continually evaluate your own performance
Perhaps, somewhere in the many trainings on WA, you will find something that will "drag you into line" because the WA way does work.
Over many years of learning and doing, we develop certain ways of doing things, but we do need to consider other approaches and methods may be more efficient. When I read about Kyle's method of writing posts I realised that if he could write so many posts whilst running a business like WA, then there must be reasons for this.
One thing in the training is that it is always stressed to follow the course, and take action as advised. I know we all believe that "we know better" but not in every case.
I found that by creating the keywords, then creating headlines for each keyword allowed me to focus more, therfore Kyle's advice has improved my ability to get things done.

Thanks. That’s great. I am in week 10 but still not done much, feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the new stuff that I have to understand later alone implement. I am a slow learner I must admit but I will get there. Taken note of what you have said.
Hi Lillian,
I think a lot of people fit into the slow category, I do too.
A lot of us older people (should I say that?) have a set way of learning which does not necessarily translate into this new technology driven lifestyle, so we often battle in various ways.
Good to see you giving it a go, and together we can all get there.
Steve
Thanks Steve. That’s very encouraging. I will keep trying and I will get it eventually.

Awesome post Steve.
I am glad you were able to implement a new system for yourself and that Kyle's advice is working for you.
I hope that as soon as I can get a grip on coming up with the keywords I will be doing as he suggested as well.
You are doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work my friend.
It does not matter how old you are, how long you have been doing something, how good you are there is always something new to learn.
Thanks Lee for your comments.
