Enough is enough! It certainly is the season to be jolly but there comes a point where you have to draw the line in the sand and put an end to the gluttony.
The problem with letting your hair down and straying from routine is that, once you've done so, it's quite often very difficult to get back into things. I'm certainly guilty of letting things slide!

I thought I'd check in on my site health and I was horrified to see that I'd slipped on various fronts. I'm clearly not publishing as frequently as I should, nor am I garnering sufficient site comments.
It's a bit like trying to push-start a car. Thanks to Newton's first law, when an object is at rest, inertia means that the object tends to resist any attempt to change its state.
So it is with letting your sites come to a standstill. It can be very difficult to conjure up enough mental tenacity to get them into motion again.
