Back in the saddle again

It's been nine weeks since I was taken out on the road on my hog. Ok, technically it wasn't mine - mine was in for a service. But that's not important. Eight bones in my foot and three ribs.

I finally got out of the cast a couple of weeks ago and I've been having several physiotherapy sessions a week. I've been walking without crutches (although, "walking" is probably too strong a word), which is so incredibly liberating!

So, now it's time to don the brand new helmet, the brand new boots and the brand new jacket (all thanks to an insurance payout). It's time to bond once more with the leather and chrome. To fire up the deafening pipes and hit the open road.

For those of you who have followed my blogs, you'll know that I like to draw parallels with everyday life experiences and affiliate marketing.

The connection in this story is something that Kyle speaks about often: passion.

See, passion is what keeps you from giving up. Passion is what allows you to hit rock bottom and still see the light at the end of the tunnel. Passion is what keeps the dream alive. Passion knows no time limit.

Passion gets you back in the saddle again, when you've taken a hit.

Don't underestimate the power of passion in your niche. In the same way that you can tell that a person is passionate about something in the way that they speak, so too can passion reveal itself through the pages you read. Passion is attractive. If your passion comes through your writing, you'll connect with your readers.

And that's what it's all about!

But just because I'm passionate about my hog, does that mean I'm fearless? Oh, heck no!

As we say in Australia: "mate I'm packin' it!"

I used to ride some but 4 kids and 8 grandchildren later I have to be passionate about something else.I still get the itch every now and then though.

It's certainly important to get your priorities straight. Thanks for stopping by, Robert.

I am a fair weather rider and love that first ride out of the spring so I know where you are coming from.

Having a connection and a passion for your niche really helps with understanding your products and in writing posts for your site. I do think people can spot a "faker"

What do you ride, Cath?

I have an old zzr600 was my first big bike when I passed my test in 2012. Had her ever since. :-)

Good on you, Cath! I'm impressed!

It does feel good, Paul. But it'll feel better when I'm actually riding again.

You must have done this when I had 2 weeks off working on my site...
Love yer posts and glad you didn't go anywhere Steve...
And thanks again for your support Steve!

I reckon I'll be right if I can just get my fat foot into my boot!

Thanks, Steve, I appreciate your encouragement and support. By the way, did you get a response from Kyle?

Hi Steve...
Sorry for the delay in replying...
Yes, Kyle sent me a message and told me he would deal with it directly...
I don't know exactly what he did!
Merry Christmas to you and the family!
