This is a first for me here. I just got this private message from a person who just joined in May and is not following anyone or anything. Seems a bit odd to me. Anyone else ge
Ha ha, I got this one today as well. Paid no attention.
There are those who try to use our system here for their scam profits. Rookies!!!
There's a little drop down where you can report spam.
This image is NOT of a spam private message so I've blurred out some of the details.
I reported it. So what do they do with people like this? Do they actually remove them you think? I'm curious to know how they handle these situations.
I got a private message few hours ago today from a member here in WA, asking me to reply to her private email id. I felt suspicious about it and took her email id and put it into the Google search and found that she is listed among the scammer/swindler with multiple email accounts. Took a random screenshots of the info and thought everyone in here should be made alert on this activity by this particular user here at WA. So that any weak mind over here may not fall in for these traps.

Had a similar experience, except it was a comment on my profile. When I checked out their profile they had only been a member for a couple of hours. Reported it as spam.
If you look at the top right corner of any comment you will see a down arrow - click on this and you will be given the option to report as spam. The down arrow may be in different locations for posts/private messages etc, but it will be there and it will give you a number of options depending on the situation.
Never reply otherwise you would end up with so many hackers digging into your emails. Once you respond it's very difficult to get rid of them and they have very clever ways of leaving malware
That is true! Plus, thanks to bless01, there's no need to lol. Those screenshots are something else!

What is the little fire icon next to certain people's names?
I've always wondered this. Is it for a question that is getting a lot of interaction or?
It hasn't happened to me just yet. I'll be on the lookout for something similar. Nonetheless, that pm looks suspect. Did you report this?
Yes I did. :-)
