Thinking or Over Thinking?

So, I am on this module for choosing a niche, and I am still trying to get a hang of it. I guess too much watching of youtube videos about niche research has made me overwhelmed. I am kind of struggling to keep it simple and proceed with a niche right now. As kyle puts it, any niche is ok, any topic is ok, we can find an audience for it from the 3 billion people who use internet today. Still unable to feel confident enough to choose one. Hey, if anyone's reading this, do leave a comment about your struggle in the initial phase, and how you could overcome it, and most importantly did you succeed with your first niche or you had to pivot and change to something else.

This is nice to know. All the best.

Yes I agree a lot of help from fleeky he is good teacher of lesson No 1

And also do not forget they can acesss your credit score and will tell you
What to do next, remember also that the bad things first the good in the last if you try very hard, hard maybe and saying maybe you achieve success
Because you have to know who's rule the world, lesson No 1 or else

I read all the replies before mine and I am so happy to be a part of this community. I write about this particular thing on my blog here daily. The correct term was analysis paralysis and the solution really is choose something you can't stop thinking about and would do it for free. Content will be a great guide if it is genuine and dollars will eventually catch up. Hang in there....we have all been where you are treading.

Yes thats where I am right now..making a list. There are a couple of things I really love, finalizing the direction right now.

Do not worry there a lot of good destroyers like a teachers who will help to ruin your future in no time that what they teach how to be unsuccessful

wow...a different kind of advice...I'll keep that in mind and be careful..Thanks Nicole

It took me a wHile to find out
And once I did, it seemed right
In the mean time i tested on siterubix

Good luck

Hang in there, Prasad. This challenge is actually quite common. You're not alone :-)

Picking a niche is something that you need to think about.

However, from what you have said here, I do think you're overthinking it. What you are describing is called "analysis paralysis"; in other words, you've gathered so much information that now you're a bit overwhelmed and are afraid to do the wrong thing.

Let's see if I can simplify it a little for you...

I always recommend going with what you are most passionate about. One tip that has always helped me is to look at it this way:

Pick something that excites you. You are going to be creating a lot of content over time, with little reward in the beginning, so what topic (niche) would you talk about most, even if you weren't getting paid for it?

For example, my niche is the topic of writing. I am constantly talking about it and helping others with their writing, have done so for years, and up till now never made a dime at it; I just enjoy it and love sharing that passion with others. In other words, I can't imagine NOT talking about writing.

The only difference now is that I am sharing it in the form of a blog that I will eventually monetize.

Put some time and thought into this, but don't focus on what's "popular" or what you think will make a bunch of money. It's not about that. If you choose something you aren't excited about, you will likely burn out long before you get enough content out there to be successful.

Hope this helped.

Wow, that's amazing, like you actually read mind here..yes, analysis paralysis is what has happened to me...to much information and not a clue where to start and what to do...but as you said, there are a few things that i really can't stop talking about, may be I should make a list of that and researching about these topics...

Thanks again!!

Yes... start with that list. Passion is your friend :-)

Really couldn't have put it any better. Excellent advice.

Once I learned what I was doing, I changed niches. It turned out that I enjoyed my hobby as a hobby. I was better talking about my business related topics on my affiliate marketing websites. Granted, I truly enjoy my business also. So that helps.

For now, try to not to overthink it. It is more important to get started learning. Our membership allows us a bunch of websites to be hosted here.

If you are concerned about spending the money on a domain name for a niche that you may not keep, go with one of the free site rubix accounts.

Then once you decided if you really like the topic, you can purchase a domain name . Kyle will explain how to do that later in the training.

The main thing, is get started. Enjoy the learning process.

Yes, the main thing is getting started and enjoying the process...i think fear is what is stopping from enjoying...and they say, best way to overcome fear is to take action...Thanks Sondra

Good to see your progress, the WA Community is there for this purpose, to help you when you can stuck, you can use that chat which live and type in the niche, so others can help you come up with the best one, but it has to be your choice.

Or you can write an article like this one and throw in your niche and definitely someone will come to your aid. I just did so there's always some one inside WA ready to help.

Thanks

Yes Cinderella, I got some very valuable suggestions here in this article...coming up with a few ideas and then talking about them will be a good idea i guess...Thank you so much!!

Hi Srinivasa
I think a lot of us struggle with the niche selection. I know that Smartekeer has written blogs about profitable niches, that may be a place to start for you. Here is a link to some of his training here: Blessings
