Make extra money with your website.
Affiliate marketing is hard work yo! it takes time, it takes patience, and it takes a resolve to continue on even when it seems everything has conspired against you to fail. But that's what we signed up for and, given the patience and hard work, it WILL pay off for you in the end.
In the meantime though, we can find some other ways to make some greenbacks with our websites. And to that end, I give you....Fiverr.com
This is NOT for every niche out there, but it can absolutely work for a good majority of them. Fiverr is a free service that allows you to either BUY a gig or POST your own gig. The payoff is.....wait for it....FIVE BUCKS! Thus the name.
I have reached my first month there advertising my own gig. Since I have a horror website ( http://www.horrorcabin.com ) my gig states that I will promote your horror related project on my website. Here's the URL: http://alturl.com/fhkzg
I have received four gigs with no advertising at all. Those have resulted in four 5 star reviews and positive comments. I would highly suggest this way to make some extra money with your website, if it allows for that kind of thing.
One thing to remember though. Fiverr takes a dollar for every gig. Which means you net $4.00 for each one. But, hey, they have to eat too I guess. Since that's the case, it would be wise to determine the amount of time it takes for you to write an article.
In my gig description I tell them I need all their links to websites, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, etc before I start. That way, when they order, I have all the information I need without having to look for it. Ideally, you want to be able to create the article in about 15-20 minutes. Anything longer and it may not be worth your time for just $4.00!
