I am new to leaving site comments. I have been doing it for about 10 days. I thought I was leaving good positive feedback with some Questions. but I have had 4 disapproved and then have this message.

We're sorry, too many of your previous comments have been reported as spam, being inappropriate, or low quality. You do not have the ability to leave further comments.

I don't understand???

How long is the ban? and I really don't know what i did wrong.

Did you get the information that you needed.

I also got one comment disapproved and it did not worry me because I was even hesitate to comment, Kyle and Carson wrote to me and explained why that happened which I appreciate and then I got in touch with Kyle.

He hasn't replied but I know he is just busy he is amazing when it comes to helping and answering questions. Don't take it to heart, just get in touch with either Kyle or Carson and I am so sure they will help you. You are not alone. I have not been banned but I got one comment disapproved. Hope this helps.

Please determine what the problem was, and fix it. Then contact Kyle and get reinstated. We all want you and your helpful comments back in the mix.
Let us know how it works out.

A common mistake with newcomers is that they don't realise site comments and site feedback are 2 different things. Site comments go on the website for everyone to see. Sometimes I get site feedback on my site comments and honestly it makes my whole site look less professional. When giving a site comment only write about the article. Ask questions connected to the article and you won't have a problem.

In the early stages I didn't fully understanding that comments are very different to feedback. Don't beat yourself up too much about this, if it was a genuine error that got you in this situation (and it certainly looks like it may have been) I'd contact Kyle and explain the situation. It really can't do any harm and may help others from doing the same.

Hi Paul
I am banned too, I feel that the community suffers as now you too are not commenting on any websites here within WA, now play it forward and calculate in your mind,

How many of the more than 800 000 members here at WA are banned too, so it is that many websites not receiving our interaction.

I seriously think that the management of WA should do a re think on this policy. The members disapproving these comments/feedback, should also do a re think, get over themselves and be more accommodating,

As we the one's interacting in their comments sections are doing so in good faith, and they should be grateful that we are actually taking the time to do so.

I HAVE NEVER DISAPPROVED ANY INTERACTION ON MY WEBSITE, EVER, I WILL NEVER BE THAT ARROGANT.

Gary

When I get a comment that includes site feedback or other inappropriate content, I edit out that stuff and approve what remains. I always contact the person leaving the comment and invite them to review my edit so I can remove it if they don't approve.

That is how it should be done, a lesson will be learnt in the process which is a positive way to learn and teach, thanks for your input and sharing.

Gary

I haven't heard of anyone getting banned before.
I would contact Kyle.

This happened to many of us in the beginning.
I didn't realize I was giving feedback along with commenting. I contacted Kyle and explained what happened and I was able to comment again.

A feedback is giving suggestions for your fellow member about their website, and a comment is as if you are a 'visitor' who can relate to the niche and saying something relevant to it.

Just make sure you don't give the exact same comment to all the websites. They all have to be different, unique.

thank you

How strange. Were your comments all different for each site you visited?

hi James yes they were

There's a difference between site feedback and site comments. The latter should be a response to the content of the page or post you've just read, not a critique of the layout of the site for example. If you send a PM to Kyle, he can reinstate your commenting privileges.

thank you
