When I searched for the domain name I hoped for, SiteRubix indicated that it was not available. However, when I searched for that domain name, responses from other web hosting

Did the other hosting companies show it as .com or .org. ?
Quite often they are available in one or the other.

.com
Thus far, I've discovered that some web hosting companies buy up domains that seem likely for various niches and then sell them at a premium. A few of the domain names I searched for were selling for as much as $4,000.

Ouch $ Yes it can be frustrating at times. It's possible you may have to change your title a bit. Perhaps some one
with more experience may reply with fix for problem.

Siterubix indicate that you are going to make a new domain, so it is indicated that the name already exist that its according to my experience

Yes, I understand that. I was looking for more clarity about the conflict in availability reports. I found the clarity I needed. The domain name was purchased but never used.

Hi there!

Have you made sure that what you searched for is exactly the same in terms of spelling etc.?

Either way, if you choose to buy your domain from another company, you can still point that domain to WA. This means that WA can still be the host to your sites.

Cheers =)

I have repeated the search several times and used copy/paste to make sure of the spelling.
I finally found a site that showed details about the domain name. It was purchased a few years ago yet was never used. It becomes available in a few months. It's clearly not worth the wait. However, I was thinking that I could buy the hyphenated version now (since competition is not an issue. When the non-hyphenated version is available, I could but it as well so both point to the same site.

Hmm...why not you just work on a free siterubix website here at WA for now. Then when you are finally able to purchase that domain you wanted, you could just move your current website over to the new domain.

It could save you that few bucks. Anyway, did you try to find out if you could buy the domain from the current owner?

I was not able to find any contact information on the site. However, I could return to the evaluation site and look again. I had not thought about purchasing it from them. Thanks for that!
Also, thanks for the reminder that it's ok to deviate from the training instructions a bit.

Hey, no problem at all. Just glad I could help!

All the best!

maybe is the difference that you want to have an other .com or .org or
something else ?
Or did you ask for the same on SiteRubix ?

I don't quite get what you're saying.

I'm impressed by the successes I'm seeing among the WA community. I am also looking for evidence that these successes lead to an income. So, if your work is paying off in dolla

Hi Sally there are many that make some money and there are many that make very good money it really depends on how much effort you put into it. I have many referrals that are doing quite well but I don't like to broadcast their names I feel they must be the ones to do this voluntarily. Members find success in certain niches, one of them promoting WA, many tend to want to just go about their business if you know what I mean, I still see them giving back to the community by answering questions but they keep their niches close to their chest, I can't fault them for that. I will tell you I make a nice income online from WA if that helps, cheers Mike.

I started a month ago and I started making some small amounts of money from Adsense a few days ago. Started with $0.08, then got $1.30 the next day, then $0, then $0.75, then $0. Hope to get it more consistent once I write more content and start getting traffic to my site.
Don't think my keywords are ranking yet so it's just a matter of time.

You should definitely go through the entire Getting Started course.to get a real handle of how to build your site. Make sure you complete the tasks at the end of each course as this ensures you are indeed taking the steps to make your site successful.

In order to do that, you do need to upgrade to Premium which in my opinion is totally worth it. The training and resources that get unlocked in Premium is awesome. The community support is always there as well and you get access to various tools to help you become successful.

Keep in mind that you also get to create up to 50 sites on Premium which all includes hosting and everything for your Premium membership.

I'm actually thinking of going on the yearly plan as it's much cheaper than paying monthly but if you're on the first discounted month, I suggest you try that out first to see if what you get when you are Premium then decide after a month whether you want to continue or go back to basic.

I have not made money yet but I am starting Course 3 and that is where that is supposed to begin. I feel like the lessons I learned after course 1 (the ones from premium membership) have been really great building blocks. I like this system because it is not a quick thing. It takes time to build a business right. So far I have been very glad and everyone has kept me going so don't give up. there is some incredible information to come

Thanks for the reference point about the training progression. i feel like I just need some milestones to look forward to at this point.
