And guess what? When the time comes, they are going to buy from you, because they trust you. If you are able to become a trusted “educational resource” providing more and more useful content related to a certain topic or vertical, you are going to build a long-term relationship.

Interesting you should write about this. The thing I've seen at WA, which is a new concept to me, it that customers come to you. This is different than what others outside WA are saying - get a bunch of email contacts, flood their inbox with useless material, and every blog has a "Buy me" at the end. It gets rather tiring. I've been struggling with the email-thing for a while - unwilling to do it - mostly because as a consumer I find a loaded inbox irritating. So far, when looking at WA member's websites, I notice none of them have that annoying pop-up for my email address. Let the customer come to you. What a concept. Thanks for the post

I've been building my educational website on helping people learn how to manage their own money over the last three years, and, to date, have zero (0) generic SEO interaction.

Thanks. Maybe my SEO is lacking. I'll go back through all my pages and posts and see if I can improve the visibility. Monetizing my website might help, too, but the private affiliate programs always want to see good traffic statistics. It seems like a dead end created by two opposing forces. I'll keep plugging away.
