I am so confused. Jaaxy, Keywords, Quotation Marks, QSR, HELP!

I really am confused about all those things and really could use a explanation.
Yesterday I posted a page I am tired being broke.(Keywords)
Jaaxy had a QSR of 7 and SEO of 97. I used Jaaxy site rank today and the Rank is position 31 on page 4. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to be ranked. However, if there are only 7 competing pages, how does it end up on page 4. Yes sure, if you search Google using quotation marks, it is ranked #4.
Sorry y'all I just don't get it.

You need to understand that the ranking system in Google is a little more sophisticated than you think
Pages don't just get ranked because of the competition, they get ranked according to a number of factors
They are -
The page rank
The age of the domain they are from
The page rank of the domain
The level of trust in Google
The back-links going to them
The anchor test of those back-links
The back link profile
The content length
The rich media in the content
Site structure
and another 200 different factors
Maybe its time to get a little more education on SEO

Barry, I would be careful what I took away from that site. He promotes things that get you ranked quickly but you will be penalized by Google later on.

The good news is that when searching with the quotes, your site is number one. The bad news is that people don't search that way unless they are a marketer.
To have your site on page 4 is not bad at this point. Google now tries to determine the topic of the page instead of just the keyword. The keyword is still very important. You could have put in the "of" without it hurting you. It might even have helped because it makes more sense.
Because Google now ranks this way you may find yourself ranking for terms that you did not try for.
Jaaxy always gives exact match results. Keep working on your site with related terms in good content and you will get there.
Sorry for being short I received a call and had to leave. I'm now using a computer elsewhere to get back check responses.. Glenda, What you say about the quotes is what i was getting at. Nobody searches with quotes so the Keyword search is a false lead. If the QSR is 7 how does it end up on page 4 is what''s not clear to me. If I put it in quotes the post is #4 out of 7 on the page. I'm not trying to confuse you. It's me that's confused.
I know that it is confusing. If I try to explain it further it will only sound more confusing. Trust me. Go for those low QSR keywords. Just know that other pages may rank for it too and it depends on the whole topic of the page as to who gets ranked where. If your page has good quality content then it will improve with time.
OK Skip - hold your horses and let me get this straight...You posted just yesterday and already today, you are on page 4? Reign it in there, my friend! I've been posting for a month and Google doesn't even know I exist. So kinda hard for me to empathize with you. Sorry!

How old is the article? It can take a little time to get to the first page depending on how much authority your site has.
That's why it's on page four. Check again in a couple weeks and you should be on page 1 :)
