500 miles and followers
Well, I've reached a signpost of sorts. I now have more than 500 followers. I'm not quit sure what that means, except that I'm more responsible to share what I've learned during my brief time with WA. After some long deliberation and self-talk, I think I have 3 keys to being successful with WA.
1. Do the lessons - Whether you're a pro or a newbie like I was, the information provided in each lesson is invaluable. Every lesson builds from the next and before you know it, you have found a niche and your site is up and running. From there, its' just a matter of subtle tweaks to monetize your site and create traffic.
2. Low Hanging Fruit - The fastest way to build quality content that ranks is by using the concept of low hanging fruit. I was able to be ranked by Google on page one of my niche in two weeks with this method. 3. Ask Questions - If you're every stumped or don't understand something, ask a question. This is a huge community of experts who are more than willing to give back and assist someone in need. Since I was a newbie, I didn't think I was qualified to help others. I thought my site should be profitable before I offered help to someone else. Not true. I've actually been able to respond to a number of queries and its nice to be able to assist someone in need. And, I never hesitate to ask questions when I can't figure something out.
So there it is. That's basically how I got to 500 followers in 60 days, And the only thing I'm boasting about is the fact that there are at least 500 people that could learn something from my posts. And I must admit, I'm glad I'm able to serve others.

Awesome, and thanks for sharing. The low hanging fruit method just got me on page 1 of Google search on the term, but not from my website, through my Google + blog! I don't care how it gets there as long as it gets there!
BTW, your 500 "followers" means that you are now directly connected to 500 members on WA who will get notification of your blogs, etc. And you will get notification of theirs! Congrats on your accomplishments!
The more folks following you on WA, the lower your rank will be. Right now you at 317 which is really good. It is training us and reinforcing what we learn in the lessons about ranking and connections, that will all help us to be more successful!
Well Done Simon you basically summed it up for all. As you stated both for the newbies and not so newbies. Congrats on your 500 too by the way.
The only part I would add in to what you have said is to enjoy what you are doing be it here in WA or Elsewhere.

Great advice, Simon! My two months is up in two days. Doing the lessons in order, I think is the key. There is so much valuable training here!
The amount of resources overwhelms me sometimes so I try to be patient and I repeat lessons a lot too.
