I remember the night I joined Wealthy Affiliate like it was yesterday:It was a cold, blustery night in March 2014. I was sick of getting scammed and desperate for life change. I created my free Starter account and, though still not sure if WA was legit or not, I worked through the training, hanging on every word, every concept, trying to take it all in.Here are the goals I set myself nearly 5 years ago:Pssstt: Now I know that YES the training here does work :)Goals set, I dived into the traini

I found in my inbox an email from a retired pensioner interesting in joining Wealthy Affiliate but not sure it was right for her. Here's a snippet from the message she sent me:“Will Wealthy Affiliate work for seniors like me? I’m not too good with computers and I’ve never done anything like this before."Personally I don't know how old you have to be to be counted as a "senior" exactly but this got me thinking...A couple of days ago I thought about the question Is Wealthy Affili

Someone this week asked me 'Is Wealthy Affiliate for college students?'My answer?Wealthy Affiliate was created by two Canadian college students for people just like you looking to get started in the world of online business.I'd even go as far to say college is the best time to start an online business. Mark Zuckerburg become a millionaire at 22, the founder of Snapchat was a millionaire at 23, a billionaire at 25. Virgin's Richard Branson made his first million at age 23.I could go on ... but y

I get many readers who are looking for a legit online business opportunity asking "Should I join Wealthy Affiliate?" And it's a great question because I honestly don't think Wealthy Affiliate is for everyone. It depends what your goals are, how much work you're willing to put in and how much time you have to invest.I have many referrals to Wealthy Affiliate and I can see some squeezing every ounce of value out of their paid memberships and then there's those that keep paying month on month but

I'll be honest, when I first saw the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp training I thought it looked like some kind of army bootcamp. So what is Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp about exactly? Here's my take on it, feel free to add your own thoughts in the comments below :-)Let's start with the main differences between the Online Entrepreneur Certification courses and the Affiliate Bootcamp courseI'd say the Certification courses are targeted to beginners looking to start their first niche and Bootcamp is for

Right now I feel mean...I've just disapproved 3 out of the last 4 comments I've received and all for the exact same reason: people gave website feedback instead of leaving a post comment. It feels harsh to disapprove when someone has taken the time to do it, especially when I don't want to make people feel nervous about leaving comments.Which is why I used to re-write whole comments like this but found it way too time consuming and most of the people I talk to who leave comments like this are ne

I don't post here as often as I should (too busy building my online businesses) but I just wanted to give a massive shoutout to Kyle & Carson and the team for your drive and passion to always be innovating and pushing the boundaries for us here at Wealthy Affiliate!Today I discovered SiteContent and started using it for the first time. If you haven't already read Carson's post here it is:https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/carson/blog/siteco...There's two main reasons I love it so far:1) It's a

As bloggers and online entrepreneurs, we're part of a community that has our own list of habits and behaviours which can seem a tad strange to our non-blogging family and friends. In researching a post I found some funny "You know you're a blogger.." and I thought some of you would appreciate it!Add your own below!People ask you about your day and you respond with your page views, comments, likes and number of email subscribersYou're tempted to ask "Don't you read my blog?" when someone asks you

I must warn you: today I'm in preaching mode so watch out! : ) In the last couple of days I have had the privilege of getting some expert feedback on my website. I asked them to be harsh and direct - and man they were! I asked them to give me it straight because I want to continually improve and keep on getting better. But it's totally pointless to ask for help if I don't then take action on what's been said. The point I want to make is this: don't waste your time or anybody else's if you're n
