Persevere! Success will come!
I have been at this for a little while this year with my new'ish website (rokuincanada.com). I am starting to see the big picture with clarity now.
As my mother (I'm a mama's boy) just discovered she had appendix cancer which had migrated to her ovaries, liver, spleen, etc. I'm more than a little distracted of late.
Thankfully she was in surgery for another issue when they found it and removed the appendix and performed a hysterectomy. So there is only little spots left to deal with.
Its obviously devastating news to the family. However I am sure glad I actually spent many hours studying cancer well before this event. I figured when 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women are likely to get cancer in there lifetime it was something that deserved my attention as I have an intense affinity for research.
She is recovering from the surgery very fast and is on an all raw diet with juicing veggies and the like. Research Chaga Mushrooms and also Ty Bollinger! We have specialist appointments later this month to find the next step in this battle.
But I digress... the reason for this post is sort of to vent and very much so to look on the brighter side of things. My website is now listed on the top page for a few targeted keywords and in the top three pages for many.
I now get an average of about 100-200 organic visits per month! I have made a couple bucks in Google Adsense revenue and upwards of $40 USD for one of my affiliate programs!
Also all this learning at WA has given me the courage to branch out and I have been selling some things on Ebay after years of being intimitaded by it. I've made over $1000 there!
Persevere! Good things come to those who are willing to stick with it and try...try...again!
Keep kicking @$$!

Oh yes, Dan! i love seeing your enthusiasm and dedication. That for yourself and your business and then indeed for your beloved mom.
I hit a lull with my business when my dear sister's husband was diagnosed with cancer. He has not chosen to eat differently and so I'm not convinced the outcome will be good, but we each chose our path and whatever its end result. Now I digress....
I just want you to know that I totally appreciate your warmth and the love you have for your mother! And with my heart i am hoping for a good outcome...more healthy years for her and for you!
Linda
Thank you Linda!
My mother has been improving quite well and is no longer consumed with the fear of the Big C. Of course as luck would have it just recently my dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer... still not sure what this will mean and he is less inclined to listen to my advice for him to be informed and simply wants the doctor to handle everything :(
That being said I have faith that as my mother is recovering and hopefully beating her cancer it will give him perspective and lead him to a more positive outlook. I really do believe being open to healing and gratitude are the most important factors. Without them one can lose motivation to improve their health and allow a 'poor me' attitude to set in.
Yes, you are spot on about this. I saw that attitude in my brother-in-law and feel his trust in the pharmaceutical path without changing anything else does not bode well. I hope I am wrong.
i am SO glad to hear that your mother is recovering. This is great news and I will hope it continues to be her success and in time hopefully your dad's too.
