Finally Made 7 Sales in 5 Days

I've been doing Blogging quite sometime now. I've been a great fan of Google Adsense which used to make me over $1000+/month on my blogs www.gadgetcage.com and programmingunit.com but after Google Panda, Penguin or whatever update happend, my main blog GadgetCage.com lost most of its visitors from Google and it dropped from 5000+ views to 90 views/day as of today.

I almost lost hope and interest. I tried few niche blogs with Adsense as I was scared of trying something new like affiliate marketing with Clickbank and Amazon. I failed with these Adsense blogs which used to provide me $0.10/day and that's not what motivates us.

Then I've spent over $3000 bucks and got cheated all over web, by people providing services like Ready Made websites and etc., I'm still fighting for my refunds till date. Lesson learnt - there are no shortcuts!

I've joined WA like 2 months ago and decided to be patient and don't want to rely on any other people and started couple of blogs after going through the videos. I'm still in Course 3, but I did decent research and thanks to Jay from Magicstudios, I've watched his webinars and it helped me to understand the basics that I was missing or overlooking.

I managed to fill my dots and built couple of sites, hired a content writer as I cannot afford to spend more than 1.30 hrs per day. I did used Onlywire and SyndLab for Social Presence link and web 2.0 syndication.

Today I rank over 17 keywords on Google first page for both of these blogs from niches weight loss and home improvements. The traffic is not so huge, its just about 250 views/month and Jay's webinar helped me understand that's more than enough to make at least couple of conversions every week.

This Success is pretty motivating. At first I was sending over 200+ visits to amazon and I wrote a blog post about it with 0 conversions (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...). Surprisingly, I started making sales right after writing this post. I made few changes to the way I was building the blog. Now I added few blocks like trusted reviews, disclaimer page, internal linking, removed Adsense ads and fb comments.

Baaaam, I had 7 sales till now and made $129 in past 5 days. I'm not sure how much I'm going to pay in taxes, but yeah it's better than what adsense was paying me and I feel I wasted my time on Adsense!

I know few things keep you down and it's better never lose hope. If others are able to do it, you should be able to do it as well. But make sure you never ignore even the small things mentioned. I know we overlook most of the things, try to go over the process again and it makes more sense.
