Hello,
I have a Finance based blog that started doing really well between Oct - Feb. On semrush.com I had over 2.2k keywords ranking on Google top 100 and 80 keywords in Top

A good advice Eric gives - often quick fixes that you can find strategies for elsewhere can end up hurting your site in the long run - that especially goes for some quick fixes regarding easy backlink techniques.

I would first of all advise you to focus on the quality of your content and making sure it is always really good.

All the best,
Mikael

When there is an algorithm change, sometimes rankings will fluctuate, but the quality content always comes right back to the top. Sometimes the strategies we find outside WA are really ways to almost hack the current algorithm. And when the algorithm changes, your rankings drastically change. Stick with what you know works here and you'll be good to go :)

I can have a look for you if you want

Hello,

I've been using multiple keyword tools now and my keyword research is completely getting off the track because of this.

I've been using tools like Keyword R

Hi
It's confusing when you get differing results, yes.
I use the WA keyword tool mostly. I don't like Jaaxy as it doesn't let me search for results by region. I figure if I'm going to pay, then I expect top results.
Have you tried the free trial of Jax? (just as a comparison) You could just google "keyword research tools" and use as many free trials as you can until you can afford to commit.
I'm doing that myself until I make up my mind.

Yeah, I used to do blogging early and few of these tools helped me in their own ways. But now, I have too many subscriptions and not sure which one to focus.

For free, I can suggest you keywords everywhere. Its a chrome extension and really good.

Good luck. I'm negotiating with Kyle for a refund on my Jaaxy annual, as I've only had it a few days. After that I'm going to try KeySearch. I'll let you know how it performs if you like.

Oh sure. sounds good. I've been thinking of getting Jaaxy, but I feel its little above my budget now. So I'll have to wait for a while for special offers or discounts on it. But yeah, if this keySearch works well for you, do let me know.

Thanks!
