Who would of thought
Semptember 2013 was a turning point in my work life, I quit my job and my ever supportive wife said to take this opportunity to do something you have always wanted to do. I have always wanted to be my own boss and master of my own destiny , God permitting. I knew that people were making money on the internet and I knew that there were a lot of scammers too. surely somebody is doing it legitimately? I had decided I wanted to work from home, so with no computer skills except the basics I dived head first into the vast resources of the internet. From September to December i came across scam after mega scam and I became so angry that I nearly quit, until i went on a website that was promoting everything I was looking for . I got scared, I thought what if I have found my pot at the end of the rainbow. Video after video I watched this guy build websites and all the while driving around in his flash sports car to a fancy house. By nature I'm inquisitive, something wasn't right with the picture I researched the gentleman in question and quickly red flags showed up, also his sports car had rental plates on them, SCAMMER . Swearing at the computer and being angry with myself for getting roped in again I turned everything off and went for a walk. I returned at night to check some soccer scores and was resigned to having to look for a dead end job again. I came across a link that said something along the lines of "sick of being scammed want to be your own boss", here we go again. Curiosity getting the better of me i decided to see what this scammer wanted. He told me how he had just finished surfing and was about to start working from home, he proceeded to tell me how I could do the same , I braced myself for the avalanche of BS that was about to wash over me . It never came, he said free for 10 days if I didn't like it or it wasn't what I was looking for then just walk away or stay for free. Bullsh*t I said, OK I'll bite , I joined for free, then upgraded then built a website and after 3 posted I get ranked on Google page 11 and I haven't started looking for affiliate companies to promote yet. Sh*t this is getting serious , honey look whats happening , I have an opinion and I'm helping people. Wealthy Affiliate works I'm still here my goal is to make enough money for my family to live comfortably and to help some charities , I'm glad I clicked on that link and met Vince, thanks buddy.

Great to hear your tale :) like so many of us who tasted the dirt before we found the gold here. The support and speed at getting questions answered (most times) is enough alone to join. Of course the website building and promoting is all great too. You can have as many sites as you want here, and pop in and out to tweak whichever one you are most interested/driven to work on at any given time. Just remember to renew your domain names!
Stick around, there are always improvements being made. The latest login button for websites is a *huge* plus.
Oh, Pellegrino I do understand where you are coming from! I spent 10 years, off and on looking for programs that could help me with my online presence. I tried MLM's, HYIP's and a host of things that turned out to be utter scams! My last stop was WA and thanks to Eddy, have this safe haven to call my home. It has been the best thing that has happened to all of us that have been guided to WA. It's like there has been a divine intervention to those of us here now.
I know it will be a while before any substantial income will avail itself however; it will happen. We just keep working on our site(s) giving them content and care. Most of all we keep learning and helping others and everything will come together.

I hear a lot of people went through a few rough patches before landing here. I was lucky I suppose because this is my first stop.
