The Wealthy Affiliate Complaints - Is It Worth Joining WA?

Like anything online, if you search hard enough you will find various people speaking positively and negatively about a particular product. Wealthy Affiliate - as great as it is overall - isn't immune to differences of opinion. There are Wealthy Affiliate complaints out there and in this post I'll list the things people have actually complained about, and why for the most part, these are user issues and not really problems with the WA platform.

Wealthy Affiliate Isn't a Get Rich Quick Scheme

For some reason many people erroneously believe that making loads of cash online should, and is, quick and easy. I think this is a lie perpetuated by those promoting bogus get rich schemes and these people have educated the masses to believe that making a fortune online is both easy and fast!

In my experience (and that of countless others) there's no such thing as a "legal" get rich quick scheme. pretty much all of the systems that promise ridiculous amounts of money for no effort in very quick time are scams.

Wealthy Affiliate isn't a get rich quick scheme . It's true when people say this about WA. Instead, it's a legitimate training platform that teaches those committed and dedicated to building a sustainable, long-term business online.

You Have To Pay To Be a Premium Member

Well, yes you do if you want to maintain complete access to everything Wealthy Affiliate has to offer. A lot has gone into making this platform what it is, and none of us can expect the owners to just do it all for us as a love job. Nothing in life in completely free, and why should it be? We all work to get paid. We expect to get paid from our boss and we expect to get paid for the efforts we put into our own businesses.

It Takes Work

Here's a quote from the Bible, but you don't have to be religious to grasp the simplicity of its meaning:

"If a man shall not work, neither shall he eat".

We all have to put effort in, and creating and running an online business does take work. There's no avoiding that. It can take a lot of work before you see reward for your efforts, but down the track those rewards can far outweigh any effort you have to put in. This business can truly transform your lifestyle if you give it time.

Making Money this Way Is Too Slow!

It's true, it generally is slow to start with. But in time your efforts today can snow ball. Much of the work you do now could generate income over and over again in the future. This is all about setting up a lifestyle and income generating business that allows you to live and do practically whatever you want.

Don't expect money quickly. Just keep in mind that you are building a new future for yourself. Instant gratification is the killer of dreams, goals and motivation.

Wealthy Affiliate Only Teaches People To Promote Wealthy Affiliate

Again this in incorrect.

Yes, Wealthy Affiliate has an affiliate program and there is Affiliate Bootcamp that teaches people how to promote Wealthy Affiliate and earn commission, but there is also the Online Entrepreneur Certification that trains everyone who joins how to build a profitable websites and create a business around something they love and are passionate about.

Primarily Wealthy Affiliate teaches its members how to make money online, as well as offering instruction on how to become a successful affiliate by sharing the many benefits of being a member here.

WA Members Trash Other Programs

This does happen for sure. Sometimes it's deserved and sometimes it isn't. The Wealthy Affiliate training does NOT teach its members to blatantly trash and bash other legitimate programs and products. It's up to us how we conduct our reviews.

If something is obviously a scam, then the reviewer has a right to state this in his/her review. However, trashing another legitimate product just to promote something else as being superior is not on. Some people have been guilty of doing this while others are fair in their review processes.

This is an individual choice, not something condoned by Wealthy Affiliate itself.

There are a number of great platforms and training programs out there to help people make money online, and I can speak from experience when I claim that Wealthy Affiliate is one of the best ones.

"Instant gratification is the killer of dreams, goals and motivation."

Great post.

Thanks.

Well said, Darren.

The make money online niche has to be one of the hardest niches in which to make money. (I should know since I've been doing it for 20 years. It was much easier 10-15 years ago.) Just look at how many make money opportunities start up every day!

Putting out a website on the internet is simply not working, and whether you are following the Wealthy Affiliate course or some other one, you do need to learn the ropes.

In the past, I made a website using a CD, very silly and bumpy. A fill in your words and pictures and click the button and you are online. That part was true. They didn't tell me about GSC or GA. Nothing about a sitemap. Nothing about duplicate content or copyrighted images. My website was out there, very illegal with website stolen pictures, but luckily the only visitor was "ME"
Google didn't see it.

My pleasure, have a great weekend:)

I wish I still had one of my old websites and the newsletter associated with it. I had about 5,000 subscribers. But after major surgery in 2006, I could not keep it up.

Then you were doing good, I had not even a subscribe form or comment form on it

Totally agreed with you of the above and I believed we have just past the age of getting rich scheme concept. Nowadays marketeers knows how to steer attention and make an other scam that may sound genuine but at the end of the day it is just a cover-up. Which means they go deeper to understand on how to con others.

I agreed with your point, WA among is the best I found.
