Windows 10 Free Upgrade UPDATE
Hi, everyone!
In about 10 minutes, I am going to take the plunge and upgrade to WIndows 10.
I have heard many good things and not too many bad things about this upgrade and after talking to a tech who upgrades computers all day every day I am sold on giving this a try.
Cross your fingers and I will give everyone an update on the other side, hopefully from the upgraded computer. LOL

Update:
The installation failed and no matter what I try it continues to fail to upgrade. Worked on it for hours and just am tired of it.
Kyle, that MAC is sounding better by the minute!
I have decided to leave 7 on this computer and move on.

If you don't respond to this, we can probably assume you are sitting there looking at the awful blue screen of death! lol
I can't relate as I have been full Mac and iOS for the last couple of years.

I hate it. I have had Windows 10 since the day it became available, and I've tried to love it. That's just not going to happen for me. It slowed my entire machine down. It's invaded my wifi settings, bogging down my connection. They tried hard to make an OS that combined the best of XP with the best of 8, but this just isn't working for me. Last night, I tried to uninstall the update, but since I've had it more than 30 days, it wont revert for me. I'm going to have to reinstall Windows 8 from a disk.

I have heard the upgrade from 8 has not been pretty. The upgrade from 7 is much smoother. Sorry you are having trouble.
The upgrade went very smooth. I'm not happy with the new OS. Upgrade took approximately 1.5 hours total, and there were no snags. I was actually very surprised that it went so well.
Ah that must have been my problem. I went from 8 to 10, but couldn't cope. I downgraded back to 8... you know it's bad when you choose 8 again... haha. Maybe I will go Mac one of these days.

Good luck! I've always heard to give new Windows updates 2 years to work out the bugs. Let us know how you make out!
So far it's great. The only issue I had was trying to find out how to get in my control panel of my computer and files. Other than that, all is good.
