And after you add the .css code, make sure you clear cache. Mine didn't remove the duplicate until I did that!

Yes, you helped yourself out of a hole this time.

But, how do you know the same thing wouldn't happen in the next blink on an eye? People change their minds because they can.

Protect your business this time with a better agreement. When something sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true!

That's my advice anyway.

Hi Maxine, no the way to protect yourself is to have more products and from different suppliers. Don't put all your eggs in one basket as they always say. Which is what I'm doing now. I've had two other suppliers ask me to take their products on. So I'm am. Have a great day and Happy New Year to you too. All the best.

That's a crappy way to treat the people who built their business but happens sometimes. Companies forget that the affiliate program costs them pennies on the dollar over advertising and marketing campaigns in-house and they only pay when they make sales.

Tough call on the existing content. By changing the products and links you may or may not lose those repeat customers. It depends on if they repeat for you or for the company you referred them to.

I wish I could tell you an easy solution but I would send out a message that this company has broken their affiliate agreement and will no longer be promoted on this blog. The bad publicity may be enough to give them second thoughts.

Thanks for your feedback, I think in todays society it might be better to just not say anything as some people think something else happened and as if I'm just trying to cover something up. I get a lot of people email me and ask questions, so when they do I will just explain to them. I find I have a pretty good connection with most of my customers as a lot tend to ask questions before buying. Typical, my last sale at 9:45pm 31st of December was a $700 sale. Why someone would cut their affiliate program when you have a worker that you don't have to pay and brings them in a lot of money has got me baffled. At 12 midnight I cut all my links stopping him from benefiting from my customers when I wouldn't be able to get the commission. The next day I tried to sign in to my affiliate account just to see the error message, page not found. So it had been shut down. At least now I have everything up and running and just to let you know two other companies have now sent me emails about selling me other products and wanting me to join their affiliate programs which are international. so something might have came out of something bad. It was a no brainer for me as I live in Australia so it cost me a lot more each month in Aud dollars. So, to upgrade using the Black Friday discount means it's actually cheaper

I know the conversion rates vs the USD are currently not favourable in Australia, the same as they aren't in Canada. This is actually a great time to start earning revenue online as all the money you earn will also be in USD as well.

Also to what Abie stated never let anyone have access to your computer which is a strange statement to make if that person was from FaceBook so beware of that in future.

Hi Andre, Yes I know, I didn't want him in my computer either. He answered my support on FB but I said to him you can fix this on your end and he said it doesn't work like that. I need to see your account and how you have your ads. You can't tell me they don't have control of everything. Very very frustrating. Why was everything going so well and the only thing I did wrong was post the ad to the USA. Soon as I did that my account was shut down. They won't even tell me what was wrong with what I did.

Yes very strange for him to want to look at your computer perhaps he meant just your account hopefully.

Facebook support are not really that helpful most of the time.

I have seen many complaints about them and the lack of help they give when you do connect.


Wishing you well and hopefully, it will get resolved.

Perhaps find other places to promote outside of Facebook they are not that great most of the time these days.

I am sorry to hear this, but ultimately, it is Facebook's decision going forward. It sounds like something has to do with a breach of their policies or community standards.

Have you tried opening a business account instead?

But congrats on your previous sales. I know this can be a pain.

Hi Abie, yes this is one of my FB business pages. I have just under 5000 friends on my personal FB page and I have 4 other business pages. This is my Better Life business FB page which is connected to my Your Better Life website. I actually had a support person from Meta come into my computer and he said I can't find what the issue is. He said look they should sort it and and get you back up and running. I might as well shut this business page down and open up a new one with a different name.

Hi Abie, yes my computer is ok. It came from the same message I sent Meta through support. Here's what drives me nuts. I answered back to them, I said, I still have not had any response to what I have done wrong and I received a message saying someone was supposed to get back to me and check my account as I'm sick of you closing my support case when no one has even told me what is going on with my ad account. This is the email they sent me.

Can you believe this.. FB just wants your money but don't want you making any money.

I was told today that FB changed their algorithm on business advertising. The bot apparently are so sensitive now and in the last 6 months there has been a huge amount of business accounts banned and when you go to complain to support they say, sorry your account as been rejected so there's nothing we can do to re-instate your account. Which is exactly what's happening to me. The other thing I was told is FB wants you to spend money bringing people back to FB not other websites and if you're new that stands out big time and the bots will shut you down. They want you to spend money to get heaps of likes on your account. So who knows Abie. I've very new to all this and I didn't do anything wrong. I bet the bots saw USA and I'm in Australia and they shut me down. Very sad situation. I'm now going to have to learn how to use Google ads. I was doing so well to with my FB ads. I only spent $144 and to date I've made $2200 from my ads. I was doing great.. .not now. lol

Thanks Abie, but basically when I was talking to FB support they said even if they are in the wrong the disition has already been made so there's nothing that can be done now. I can't believe they don't check it out and just re-instate my account. Weird as. It's not the first time I've come across this Abie. Back about 15 years ago I was doing well selling and started to make money. I then put up $7000 dollars in ads on Google and two days later they closed my account and never paid my money back. It was impossible to contact them after that. I learned a big lesson that I'll make sure that doesn't happen again.
