my website dosen't fit the screen on different devices even with different browsers any advice?

Too far over my head for m.e to try and answer

It may not be a responsive design. My understanding of responsive is that the theme, aka your website, looks good on all mobile or small screen devices. The theme in other words automatically adjusts to suit smaller screens and retains a quality look as well as still functioning correctly.

IMc is correct that some themes have an adjustable width that you can change from within your WP dashboard in the themes section. Try a different theme as he suggests using the demo but check for it being responsive too.

The sooner you change your theme (IF you have to) before you build it out with articles, the better.

When you choose a theme, need to test it first, click the 'Demo' button - just to see what it looks like - as some people want a full width theme, some want narrower text in the middle of the page.

Some themes have an option in Themes > Customize where you can change the width settings. But most dont.

So best option is check that, if there's no option then change the theme to one that you like the look of.

Also get a theme that is 'responsive'. They are designed to work on various types of devices - eg PCs, tablets, phones. Older themes aren't responsive. Most, but not all, new ones are.

Find a theme that is suited for mobile devices, as well as laptops and others. I just launched a website with a theme solely designed for mobile devices and it looks great. The reason I chose that is because my niche suits those who will be searching that way. Create a test website and play with different themes to see what works best for you.

Its all to do with you theme, its a hard one to win as many themes dont suit certain devices, for example it may be perfect on a Samsung but not a Lg
