I have a problem with one of my websites. When I try to add a post or a page, I do not have a kitchen sink and I do not have the option to switch between Visual and HTML. If I

It might be one of the plugins. This happened to me a few times. I switched from Firefox to chrome and de-acivated some plugins. When it was back to normal I re activated the plugins one by one to eliminate the problem

I deactivated all of the plugins in a different browser and still only get a partial kitchen sink and cannot toggle between visual and html.

I have tried reinstalling the latest version of WordPress.

Used to have the same problem when I was using Firefox. When I changed to Google Chrome, it resolved.

I just tried the exact same thing. I usually use Firefox, but tried it in Google Chrome and I still have the same problem. The hard to understand part for me is that I didn't do anything when the problem started.

I checked the comments one day and didn't see anything. I tried writing a post and couldn't come up with anything so I closed it out. When I came back the next day, there was no kitchen sink or html.

Create a dummy site with siterubix. Have only basic plugin installed. See if it works on Chrome (or Firefox). Compare it side by side to your actual site and see what works.

You'll probably find it's your browser. Try a different one. That is usually the culprit.

Just tried a different browser, no luck

I just tried accessing it on my wife's Kindle and I still have the same problem

That makes some sense. My computer is about 5 years old. My other websites work fine but I just can't get this one to work. I have waited about two days and logged out and back in several times. I have gone through all of the setting and can't find anything that would lead to this problem.

I will have to try accessing it on my wife's kindle and see if this is the case. Thanks.

Ran into the same problem. I also changed themes, plugins etc. but no change. In my case, it seems to be a software support problem for older hardware. I am using an older iMac (32-bit). Accessing the same website with a newer PC solved the problem. I was confused also, because the software seems to function fine, but with reduced capability in Wordpress. This may not be your exact problem, but it sounds similar. Hope this helps.

I am not on my PC. right now to give you specifics but there is a radio button somewhere in Settings. I'll check back with you later to see if you found it.

I also tried switching to two different themes by different creators and still have the same problem

When I delete the plugin, I get a few options for the kitchen sink, and it still doesn't give me the option for visual or html

It could be the plugin doesn't work right with that theme. Do you need that plugin or can you use the WP editor?

I tried to create a Google Adsense account as part of the Course 3, Lesson 7 tasks and got the following message:

An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it i

have been working with Google for a long time since you haven't been there in a long time try setting up a e-mail with them and then try adsense again. will look further and see if there is any thing else you can do

let us know how this turns out for you, i haven't gotten that far yet, but i'm very interested it the ad sense thing.

I am not with adsense, am trying to be more proficient with G+ and twitter

Have not used it yet-- good luck with it

I'm thinking the same thing. I am not a fan of Google and it is frustrating that they have such a huge share of the internet traffic. I never use them and find them difficult to work with.

Try setting it up with your google+ id. I have set all of the google stuff to my google+ id and it seemed to help. If you need to, start a new google+ account and go from there

I really don't have any problem with adsense. 4 of my websites are giving me a small, but growing income ( about 2-3 $ a day). This helps me to pay a part of my expenses. And there's no work to do.

I had the very same problem, Google Adsence is awful.

Thanks for the tip, I've never had a close look at them.

I got kicked out of google Adsense ages ago, what I don't like is that no explanation was offered; I consider that to be an almost criminal act of bad business practice, Why/how do they get away with it?

I really hate Google but they own a huge share of the internet marketing business. I don't get why they offer Google+, Adsense, Adwords, Analytics, and 900 other programs and they all have a separate link. When we design websites, we have a menu and include it all in one location on every page.

I will probably try Bing as an alternative.

I had that problem and had to set up another google account entirely. Then I had to set up adsense with my new email.

Thanks for responding. I will try doing that.
