Back To Work - For 2 Weeks

I was retired by my last company on January 11. I kind of got in the groove of not working. Out of the blue, about 2 months ago, I was contacted by a LinkedIn contact wondering what I was doing. Whatever I want was my response.

He tells me my background is exactly what he is looking for and would I be interested in working full time? No I would not was my reply. He asked, what would you be willing to do?

We settled on me coming out to San Francisco for 2 weeks to see how it goes. That is where I will be. He is paying me a very generous sum to come so that is upside. The big plus is I will spend time with my oldest in LA this weekend and then head up to San Francisco on Sunday.

I won't be involved in WA too much during that time but will be back into it upon my return.

I am a little nervous about doing this assignment but it will be a new adventure.

See you soon!

This happened for a reason, and it was wise to take the work and bundle it with seeing your oldest.

Good luck Rick and enjoy it!
