Wealthy Affiliate Works! My site has 66 sales for 2 months work!

Good morning fellow freedom seekers!

I have often read posts questioning whether affiliate marketing actually works, even this morning I read a blog asking whether it was even possible to get sales in the first few months or even year of a new website.

So before I started updating and creating new content on my old website I thought I would take a look at my Amazon associates account to see how well my website has done so far.

My website was started in May 2019 and I wrote in the first two months with lots of enthusiasm. I decided to focus on a Niche site and wrote 28 blogs combining, articles, reviews and best of's. Then due to personal and financial circumstances I had to stop and take a break.

I was incredibly surprised to see that my humble little site has made 66 sales and has had over 1400 clicks on my links!. Now to some on here that may seem small fry, however this was achieved with about 8-10 weeks work, the remainder of the time it has been left to simmer.

My first two sales came on 21st August, so that took about three months (two months of affiliating to Amazon) to see the first sale, by the end of August I was up to eleven sales and got my approval from Amazon!. All I did was follow the wonderful training here on Wealthy Affiliate after starting with zero knowledge or experience.

It is just so wonderful to see something working away, without my constant attention, isn't that what we are all seeking? a passive income. OK I admit it is not so passive in the beginning it takes a lot of very hard work and dedication, but it is possible.

I am very excited for 2020, as if this humble website can give me those results with minimal effort, what can it do with my full attention, passion and time! I look forward to reporting the results.

So if you are new, please keep the faith, follow the training, I promise it works. Obviously it is important to point out different niche's take different times and are easier or harder to convert to sales. Also, if it is not working for you, get feedback, often some small changes can reap huge benefits.
