Free Traffic With Pinterest
Obtaining Traffic From Social Media.
This wont be a long post, I just wanted to throw some insightful information onto the WA feed about using pinterest to gain traffic and essentially possible conversion to blogs or social media landing pages.
Those who know me from this platform know that I use Facebook or Instagram primarily so I though I would give another one a shot seeing as I gained a good amount of knowledge about hashtagging over the course of the past few months.
For 13 Days the results are pretty staggering,
I began re-pinning handfuls of pins to do some tests and found that my traffic had began to essentially double over time, the faster my pins were actually being saved and thrown back out into the alogrithim by other pinterest users.
You dont need followers either, your pins are viewed by just about anyone in a search if they are tagged and you've take the time to write descriptions.
For some dealing with images or content on a daily basis I highly recommend that you take the time to learn the ropes of this unique form of social media,
In a highly visual society it can gain exponential momentum, Ideally those who deal primarily with ecommerce and high res images like myself.
Hope this helps, Have a great evening!

Thanks for sharing your experiences on Pinterest. Its definitely something we we've got to look into seriously if we really mean to drive traffic to our sites. Appreciated!
Most definitely my friend, couldn't agree more its a valuable tool.
You're very welcome and all the best to you!

That's good to know, Ross. Thank you.
I'm trying to get my head around Pinterest even though I've had an account for several years. So, it's good to read of your success with getting traffic to your site.
Didn't know where to begin roughly myself,
I started studying a few boards and seeing what was working for a lot of the higher traffic profiles.
My account was made a few months back but never really used it much and just decided to give it a go for a few days and work at it. Definitely been a fun experiment :)
You are most welcome!

Nice job! I'm just getting started here. It's been a few weeks for me. It'll take me time to get where you are. Nice meeting you and enjoy.
Just under the pin description when you save them, If you are using google chrome you can get the extension that allows you to save pins from pretty much any website.
It will let you tag them right there and actually show you how many pins are under the hashtags you are using.

Yes, just like Instagram. With the app on the browser, it will show you which tags are being used when it autofills, I heavily recommend it due to the fact there aren't as many tags being used on Pinterest as Instagram. The tags that are being used are very powerful non the less like #entrepreneur #blogger #Instagood etc.
Ross,
Thank you for sharing I have been trying to figure this one out
have my account set up and did a few pins but I need to do
more with it - I think that is going to be first thing tomorrow on
my list to do - Thank you so much :)

You are very welcome Susan,
It's really different and I feel bad I neglected to get using it when I first started, being as its pretty basic as it is it was certainly pretty quick to learn.
If there's anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate and If I see you there I will help get your pins out.
Have a great evening!

Hey thanks for the great info!
I have not used pinterest to much mainly because I haven't really researched or learned how to use the platform to much (I stick to what I know) but will probably be giving it a shot in the near future!
Thanks for the encouragement!
That was definitely my stance as well last month,
I wasn't sure if I could handle another social media, but to be honest, once it's going it just grows and if your pins are clean and look good it can be left virtually alone with no upkeep.
You are very welcome!
