What a challenge! Month 1 at SAC
I had no illusions whether or not it would live up to its name. I weighed the prows and cons before I applied. Pro - take the challenge and experience undreamed of success, con - turn it down and continue to labor along hoping that it would come soon.
I decided I prefer the pro.
With just a few days left to the second month's train, I am way behind on my assignments. I have only done the WA review and haven't written a letter of the 1K word 12 posts that is a part of the first month's challenge.
Truly, my one question is: what do I write on? Am I supposed to do reviews of other affiliate sites or aspects of Wealthy Affiliate, or the advantages and disadvantages of starting an online business? Am not sure. So my fingers hover over the keys but do not strike them, and the time passes.
I enjoyed writing my 2019 WA review though. I am confident that if you were not a member and came across it, that you would sign up immediately.
That said, I followed instructions and shared the possibilities of starting an online business at WA with a friend. I shared my link with her yesterday and she signed up for the 7-day trial. I believe that she will be my first premium sign up. That got me excited.
So if you too are in the challenge and can answer the above question, I welcome your response. If you have not yet gotten your first prospect, continue beating out those words. For each word typed, you are so much closer to that breakthrough.
I am not giving up, neither should you. Success is just a few strokes away.

Glad you addressed this now, you still have 9 days for Part 1, and even if you miss it, you can get ready and jump into Part 2.
The answer is more what CAN'T you write about. Don't feel limited. Even if you haven't chosen your niche yet.
You can blog about ANYTHING that you feel will be HELPFUL to your readers related to online business, Some topics can include building a WordPress website, affiliate marketing, opening an e-commerce store, successful habits of entrepreneurs, how to build a personal brand, social media sites, etc..
These are only a few ideas, but perhaps you can do some Google searching and find many more. More like an endless amount.
Than main thing is to just GET STARTED WRITING something and DO IT! Try for 1000 words, but if you can't make that threshold, that's okay.
Start writing whatever you can, and I promise it will get easier.

I wish I had wrote this a week ago. Anyhow, it's done and you and the others have been super helpful.
You have shared ideas that will take me way beyond 12 posts and I know that with research, I can easily make the target 1000 words. Am pumped.

Sounds like you did a great review but haven't quite identified your target market yet.
You need to identify your market and zero in on them. For example which niche of people are you trying to promote WA to?
Once you have answered that question I believe your writing will become a whole lot easier and more focused.
As an idea - what brought you to WA and how did you get here - maybe target others just like you.

Thank you Lawrence. I realize from the comments here that I have be sought of writing in general. I did not consider having a niche market even for promoting WA. I am glad I wrote this post now. A lot have been clarified for me.

In regards to what to what about...
I have written some product reviews and also on content that my posts can link to.
In other words, you can write:
- Affiliate marketing, what it is, the benefits, etc. then your Wealthy Affiliate can have an internal link to it.
- How to create a website under a minute.
- Talk about how to avoid scams.
These are 3 good ones you can write about. Just make sure to do your research and find good keywords.
When you write more reviews, you can use them as internal links.

Hi Russell. I don't know what angle you've decided to approach the SAC with, but Jaaxy and Alphabet Soup can help you come with ideas and keywords to write about. For example, if your approach was helping people going into retirement, you could go to Jaaxy and search on "how to make extra money for retirement", you'll find a lot of search terms come up. Look for those keywords that fit your approach, with monthly searches greater than 30 and low QSR, like under 100, or even under 50 if you can. Use the keywords you find as your topics.
At this point in the game, I think just getting the content out there is the most important thing. Create some categories, like Reviews, How-to type articles, Scams is another common one. You can write about and review any product. You can do comparisons of Affiliate Training programs to WA (There is comparison tool under Links and Tracking that will create a pre-populated table for you).
I also find the content templates to be of great use as well. Use the Keyword Rich Content Template and start filling in the sections.
Hope this helps. I'm sure others can give you more tips as well. Try going into the live chat and asking folks there as well.

This is very helpful Michael. I especially like the the idea of the categories. I will add that to what he others are sharing. I plan to target people who have lost their jobs and are searching for something new/independent to do.
Hi Russell, that's great you got a friend to sign up. For the posts, you should write something that is related to your Wealthy Affiliate site that you are using to promote Wealthy Affiliate and get others to join.
My niche is reaching retired people...so...I have written a post about blogging and several about scams that seniors need to look our for, all the while, using WA banners to draw folks to my WA link.
I hope this helps!.....basically you can write anything for the twelve posts as long as it is geared towards the niche you are using to promote WA within your website.

I will. I hope to finish my first post by tomorrow. That means I will have to write 12 posts in 9 days. O well, it's called a challenge.
