That First Month Is Over, SAC
Well the 20th May has come and gone. The first month of the Super Affiliate Challenge is over. Am I satisfied? Nnnnaaaaahhhhh.
I am wayyyy behind. I haven't completed my 12 posts. As a matter of fact, I have only completed 1 and am about 350 words into the second. As I said, wwwwaaaaayyyyy behind.
How I got here
I excitedly signed up for the SAC. I always boasted that I loved challenges. Plus that, I wasn't going where I wanted to or doing as I thought I should. The SAC should help me get there. I fell behind from the start because I misunderstood what Kyle had said and continued working on my niche site insteas of building a new one. By the time I was helped to see that, two weeks had gone by.
So I went over to the boothcamp and started work feverishly. Now it was about following the boothcamp and the SAC at the same time. It was a challenge. What kept me going was all that I was learning and the willingness of these wonderful people in the SAC - and some others - who were willing to help out and point me in the right direction.
Thank you guys, you know who you are. I am truly grateful.
Where I am
So I have two sites instead of one and this may sound crazy, but am working on both. One more than the next but the two nonetheless.
I have learned so much more about keyword research and Kyle's tips about how to go about fleshing out that blog has made my writing so much simpler. Where was he when I was in school labouring over those essays and 2000 word papers?
I've begun to do reviews and be confident in doing them. I am begining to understand how to place banners on my posts and how to better choose links,
I completed a 2000+ word post on WA and I know I could have written much more. That was/is incentive for me.
Can't say that I spent much time on the chat and am not to sure about commenting on other people's blog as much as I should.
Am working on getting up to speed though.
From now on
So from now on, I may have to double up on production. I am determined that I will be up to par by the end of the second month though.
You think I can do it? Watch me!

I am a little behind, too! I just couldn't get the last 4 done with my work schedule. End of the school year is super busy for us at the newspaper as we cover all the sports and graduations and you name it! But we can do this! I firmly believe where there is an action, it can be done!

I am in the same boat as you are Russell, just have to get back on track, all is not lost, you can always start over at anytime. I am very blessed and fortunate that I am doing this to learn for fun, I have a web developer that could have done this in a few hours/days, but now I know what it takes. It is always more satisfying to finish something and go through all the struggles and pains, if it doesn't hurt, you're possibly not doing something worthwhile, just saying, since I have learned from experience and living on this earth for 70+ years. I like your spirit of FIRE!! Yes, absolutely you can do this but don't stress yourself either. The most important thing is to make sure you have quality and useful content for your visitors.
Working on one website is a lot easier. I temporarily dropped my dive site to do the challenge.
Also if you have a good review template, that will really help you. If you don't let me know.
