Resolved - Niche Specific Groups In WA To Give And Take
So I was just thinking today how it may be a little tougher for people who are in this WA community to help others out with giving engagement to other members blogs who are not blogging about affiliate marketing.
For Example:
I go to the comment thread for the Give and Take and post my latest post to get some interaction on it. I may get a couple or sometime I get nothing.
I feel like alot of that has to do with the relevance of the topics of running is not as great as those who post about affiliate marketing. It is kind of a no brainer that we are here, getting into affiliate marketing, on a affiliate marketing community, and if someone wants you to comment on their post about affiliate marketing, you can because it is relevant.
Now I am not complaining, but making an observation. I also understand that there are not as many WAers that are even using the niche, nor am I using what they may be marketing. What I am saying is there should be a niche section of WA create for people to in a way connect their profile to that niche (or multiple niches if you have multiple sites) in which WAers can enter that section of their niche, find like minded people and asist each other with comment, or niche specific marketing help.
Does anyone think this is a good Idea?

My site is geared toward educators and I'm sure there are so many more teachers, tutors and mentors here in WA than those I know about... I'd love to be able to share sites with fellow WAers if I only knew with whom I should be in touch...

I like the idea. I had a woman come back to me and said she couldn't comment on my site because she was against my niche. E-cigs. Im not for half the sites I read but I read them to try and help someone who posted their site for help in the first place.

I checked out your running site and it looks great. A lot of very interesting blog titles: they caught my attention even though I'm not a runnner. I wouldn't be able to leave any meaningful comments on a running site, but your idea of creating niche-specific groups would enable other runners or sports enthusiasts to more easily find your site and post meaningful comments.
I'd really appreciate that. It would be helpful to know who else within the community is running with a similar niche as I am.
It's also great to meet others who would have new perspectives and experiences to share that are specific to the niche your working with.

I get what you mean. It's like categorizing niches into say "health", "sports", "food" and so on. I know it can be done but needs some coordination effort from the creators & over all members.
I would agree that there needs some coordination. It would be like street articles and how there is just all these different areas and so maybe we could group our members like that.
