Hi, I added a new page and got some content on it. I did some writitng and added a few banners on text, when I change to visual tab I see it as I want it. But when I click on p

I updated all the plug-ins, I only have the ones WA preinstalled. I check the boxes you are talking about and yeah i got them filled out. I dont show a format area nor category. And the banners I placed them on the text tab so I can see them on the visual
Rudy, when you completed what you did on your new page, did you scroll down and check your title, description and keyword boxes? These need to be filled out. Also on the right you have an area called format, did you check one of the boxes? Finally did you check the category? These are the things that I found usually cause problems. The only other thing is copying the codes for the banners into the text area.
Did you check you plugins?
I once had this problem and it turned out that one of my then plugins "protecting content/ copyright etc." was the issue.
For almost a year this plugin worked fine, but after a major WordPress update it didn't work.
That's where all of a sudden I too couldn't see my content posted anymore.
After deactivating the plugin, everything was back to normal.
If you don't have a plugin who might doing this, get a Support ticket, they certainly will find out what the problem is.

Hi, I have my site up already. There are a couple pages I have with amazon affiliate links.
But Im having trouble understanding how to add articles to a page/catagory.
Thank you for the video. I am up to that part and have categories set up on the menu. But cant figure out how to break off article, I tried adding the "more" link to it but its not showing the way id like.
With some themes the automatic read more doesn't always work.
In your editor, place the cursor where you want the text to break off then click the read more button which will place a dotted line where the cutoff is then, when you publish your post, you should see the excerpt on your blogroll
Ok I think I have to change themes then. Cause I did add the read more and had dotted lines come up, but in the preview or saved changes it wasn't showing up that way.

Yw but also as prmm said, make sure in your dashboard go to Reading and make sure show excerpts is checked.
Some themes also have an area for this in customize
You can add them as blog posts. If you want to view them in your latest post as excerpt you'll set them in wordpress settings. Under Reading
I don't know what you're wanting...
If you DON'T want the READ MORE, change Themes. There are thousands of Themes without this feature.
