I'm trying to figure out what is permitted regarding using product photos directly from Amazon in my blog posts. Is it allowed and are there any limitations?

Hi Robert

Instead of using their API, I use a product photo directly from the manufacturer's site and a text link for my Amazon affiliate link. If you're concerned about Amazon's ad policy, you can separate the photo from the text link. You'll find that Amazon also gets many of its images from the manufacturer.

I ran a paid ad on Facebook to get my three sales on Amazon in 10 days. It cost me about $40. You don't have to depend on organic search traffic to your site. 😎

Frank 🎸

That's fabulous, Frank! Indeed, when creatively diversifying the sky, it's the limit. I hope they were great results! :)

Abie

Thank you for the advice.

Thanks, Abie! 🙏

Yeah, lots of workarounds in affiliate marketing to get the results we need! 😎

Frank 🎸

You're welcome, Robert. 😎

I love it, Frank! With creativity, there's multiple processes to discover new ideas :)

Abie

I approach affiliate marketing a lot like music, Abie - close enough for Rock n' Roll. Lol 😎

Frank 🎸

Haha! That's perfect, Frank!

It's funny you say that; I associate things with smelling... If it smells good, I would pursue it... But that doesn't work digitally! lol

LOLOLOL

Abie

Hahaha, Abie! 👍😎

My wife has an incredible sense of smell, which can sometimes be a bit annoying. Lol. It's a genetic thing that runs in her family from her mom.

Frank 🎸

Incredible lol

You should see how retailers and the general public look at me in shops. I keep everyone amazed with my senses.

Lol, I don't feel embarrassed at all.

I smell almost everything, lol

Abie

My wife smells everything in restaurants and stores, too! Lol. 😂

We have to use our unique and special talents to the max, Abie! 👍👍😎

Frank 🎸

Oh my God! Totally the same, lol

Can we be related? I have to find the equivalent digitally!

Then I am a winner lol

Abie

You're already a big winner, Abie! 😃 👍

Frank 🎸

Thank you, Frank!

I learned to be bold and never settle, no matter how many milestones and winnings I attain. There's always room for improvement.

I appreciate the encouragement. 🙏🤗

Abie

Yeah, we're both very similar in that regard, Abie! 😎😎

Frank 🎸

Kudos to both of us, Frank! 😎😎

You're always doing a fantastic job!

Abie

Thanks, Abie! 🙏

We can only try to do the very best. Nobody can expect more. 😎

Frank 🎸

My mentor does, lol. That's the person who pushes me to achieve more.

I talk with them regularly...

I sometimes feel I am not doing enough and must contain the situation. It is hard not to get frustrated at times.

Abie

That's the nature of what good mentors tend to do, Abie.

There can be a fine line between encouraging someone to do more with a positive result and achieving the opposite by pushing too hard, which can be discouraging. I learned that when I taught guitar.

I was raised to be able to support myself to the point where I could have a good life, but with work taking somewhat of a backseat to fun time. It's a typical Italian approach. Lol

However, I've always had a strong affinity toward a good challenge. 😎

Frank 🎸

This mentor is unique and unlike any other coach I have encountered. They are also my liaisons, as they also play a role in different functions.

I hear you, Frank!

I love challenges, too!

I think digitally, my strong focus would be vigilance, come to think about it now.

Abie

That sounds like an excellent find, Abie! 👍👍

Vigilance is a great trait to develop in all things! 😎

Frank 🎸

Thank you, Frank!

They've been my mentors for quite a while now. :) I am happy with the mentorship I am receiving, and it is going places.

Abie

Nice! 👍👍 😎

Thank you :) I really appreciate it, Frank!

Abie

You’re welcome, Abie. 🎸

It is always a pleasure, Frank!

Abie

You are covered here, Robert!

Here are some Amazon plugins if you are interested in fetching an API (you would need to have attained the three sales in 180 days.)

Lasso
Geniuslink
Amalinkspro
Amimagemaster
AAWP
WP tasty

Abie

Sounds good. Thank you!

Perfect, and you're welcome, Robert!

Abie

Hi - no, this is not possible unless you have met their sales target of 3 sales in your first 180 days.

And then you have to apply for their API Access key to be able to use them.

ok, thank you for the quick reply.

I have one post that is over 2 weeks old, but not indexed as of yet.

Not all content will get indexed right away (and sometimes it won't at all). You can request to get indexed directly within Google Console though, and this can often times speed up the process. Don't panic, and don't focus too much on trying to get any single post indexed. Your time is better spent investing that energy into creating more content, but requesting indexing for content that is lagging often times can do the trick (as I outlined in my video). :)

Thank you.

Google works on Google Time :) However, Kyle shared with you how to request indexing.

You can also work on your internal links. Or write supplementary content to Medium(.)com and backlink to your posts. Alternatively, pin on Pinterest and strategically link back to your website.

Thanks for the details on some things to help me.

You are welcome, Robert :)

You may not be far enough in the training yet! Once you learn how to use GSC it can be as quick as 72 hours but not all gets indexed especially starting out.

Thank you.

I am not able to get to my hub/website. Not sure why but I need help.

I used tech support and they told me that my site was fine, but is not. I can not get to it. I went to the dashboard and this is what popped up. I signed in and still no site. Please help.

You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh, and try again. You can also try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.

You can also empty the server's cache.

When I look at your website, I see the post at the top of the home page.

I suspect it's just a caching issue. Clear the cache at WA and/or in your browser and it will probably appear for you.

That worked. Thanks so much for the quick response.

Thanks for letting me know, Robert.
