Wealthy Affiliate Will Never Earn You Money

Did that title get your attention? Good. Now let me start by saying that Wealthy Affiliate is a brilliant resource, even if you're only able to have a starter account. The free training is amazing, the community is great, and the two free websites are better than anything else you'll get for free (try going back to an average free wordpress blog). Now that being said, I noticed that I tend to see a fair amount of people asking (in chat and on their profiles), "Does this work?" "Can I really make money from this?" and similar questions, and I just want to say.

No, Wealthy Affiliate alone will not earn you a single cent.

Wealthy Affiliate University is not a machine that, once you pay your premium fees, will start earning you money. It is exactly what it says on the tin, a university. If you go to a university for a mechanical engineering degree, you will not immediately start earning money once you have that degree. You have to find a job that wants that degree, and start WORKING! You'll use the knowledge you learned in college and make money like that. The degree does not immediately earn you money, rather, it gives you the knowledge and the resources you require to make money. It is entirely up to you to take action.

And that is what I think it comes down to, action.

Wealthy Affiliate University offers you training, a community to help, and even free sites to help launch your business. This is more than any other community or forum I've ever seen online offer. But you have to remember that without using this knowledge, without taking action, you will not earn a single dime. Even when you pay for a premium account, you still require action in order to truly capitalize on your investment. So, if your question is

"Does this work?"

It depends on what you mean by 'this'. If by 'this', you mean "Will this community truly help me reach my goals of launching a successful online business? Can the training show me how to set up a website and earn revenue?" Then the answer is a resounding yes!

But if your definition of 'this' is, "If I buy a premium account, will I immediately start earning money?" or the just as bad, "Will the training tell me what niche I should do, and then tell me exactly what type of content I should post?" Then the answer is no, Wealthy Affiliate gives you the tools you need, and even shows you how to use those tools. But, it is up to you to decide when to use them, and even what to use them on. The community is happy to help as much as we can.

For example, if you like fitness, the community is more than happy to explain that, fitness alone is a tad bit broad, so maybe focus on a specific diet? Or workout regime? We will help explain our experiences so that you can be successful, but we won't say, "You NEED to do this part of a fitness niche, and then set up a website using this exact theme, and then write this content, and then this one, and so on." We can give you all the suggestions and points in the right direction you require, but in the end, it is up to you take action.

So, a quick recap, if you're looking for training, classes, and resources to help you learn how to make money online, then Wealthy Affiliate is THE perfect choice. But, if you're looking for an effortless way to make money, which requires little to no work on your part, I'd suggest that you keep looking (and let me know when you find it.
