Have You Upgraded To Premium Plus?
This is just a very short blog post about upgrading to premium plus.
I see that quite a few Wealthy Affiliate members have upgraded to Premium plus. I must admit I haven't as yet, however, I am considering upgrading. I was wondering what fellow members think of the upgrade and what is the best thing about premium plus, please?
I noticed that with the upgrade there is improved hosting, does this give us more access to their hosting Control Panel? I do use Wealthy Affiliate hosting but also pay for a dedicated server.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello Roy,
My situation is rather different to other members so my decision not to upgrade to Premium + may not apply to you. Since you asked, I thought I'd share my reasons.
In March 2020 I upgraded to the yearly subscription plan at the regular rate. WA offered a last time special to purchase a yearly plan in May for $299. I jumped at that offer as I thought this price level had ended at the Back Friday sale in 2019.
By having two annual subscriptions so close the credit that was assigned to me meant I don't have to renew until March 2022. And the $299 Premium rate would still apply.
I will upgrade as soon as I earn a monthly commission of $1000 using all the benefits I have at the Premium level. This could happen before or after March 2022. I hope it will be sooner. The upgrade will be my reward for meeting that commission goal.
Some may tell me my chances would be better to hit that commission with Premium Plus. Perhaps. But before Premium Plus was available, members did very well on Premium alone.
There are two main attractions in Premium Plus for me. The full version of Jaaxy. And the added Premium Plus classes given my the other successful members. I can see the value in Premium Plus. But I decided to wait.

Thank you for your interesting answer, it's a good one! I understand where you're coming from and it is interesting that you are going to reward yourself after you make $1000 per month. It sounds like you're setting up some useful goals, which is great.
This reminds me of Roope's excellent post from the other day, regarding setting up goals. You can see the post below. 4-Step Challenge: 50,000 NEW Subscribers in 4 Months! Roope has set some quite large goals, which seem to be working for him. I have to say are not particularly good at goals, I have a list, but no time-sensitive goals. So in other words, I have goals, but no deadlines.
Yes, I hear you on the two main attractions for premium plus. The full version of Jaaxy and extra classes would be great. Although, I'm not sure how much time I would have to watch the classes.
I may try the discounted premium plus for one month at $49 as a not quite so busy this time of year. So I may be able to take advantage of the extra training.

I really like Jaaxy as a keyword tool and gaining access to Jaaxy Enterprise as a premium plus member was a huge plus in my book since it makes using it so much easier.
The hosting is the same with the exception that you can host 50 premium websites and have 1,000,000 monthly visits as a premium plus member vs 10 premium websites and 250,000 monthly visits as a premium member.
You don’t get access to a control panel. You have to rely on site support , but they’re pretty responsive.

It's interesting what you say about Jaaxy, that sounds like a worthwhile benefit.
I do use the Wealthy Affiliate hosting and it seems to work well, especially after the upgrade a year or so ago. However, a couple of my sites use a data feed that is quite server heavy. So I now have a dedicated server. Without a dedicated server, I would be losing traffic.
To be fair the Wealthy Affiliate hosting is quite a nice bonus and absolutely fine for people starting out.
This can be a problem not having access to a control panel, I appreciate site support are quite prompt. However, I do find that it often takes several messages to get something working correctly. Having said this, I have to remember that I actually feel I get great value for money as a premium member. The hosting is a nice little bonus.

I upgraded just for that first free month, but I never got the time to take on much of the training, although the bit I did were good.
Using Jaaxy was a huge difference to the free version, so I think that alone made it worthwhile.
Didn't notice much difference in the hosting, but maybe my websites aren't big enough to take full advantage of that yet. I will try the Premium again when I have more time to explore the training, and when there is a black Friday special or something.

It's good to take advantage of the first-month free trial. I think many people would have the same problem, having time to get through the training.
That's interesting regarding Jaxxy, this is definitely worth thinking about.
I have found the Wealthy Affiliate hosting to be pretty good in general. However, as I mentioned to Dave Hayes who was the last member to comment. I actually have a dedicated server as the Wealthy Affiliate hosting was costing me sales due to being restricted. I use something called a data feed, which to be fair is quite server heavy, so I do understand. I think for most people, especially when they are starting out the Wealthy Affiliate hosting works fine.
Yes, I will have a look at the comments I receive and think about upgrading to Premium plus in the future.

Hi Roy, I upgraded mainly for jaaxy to be honest as I have clients who that helps with, plus the extra classes are very good. However I think its a personal decision and its more an add on rather than a need. Depends on the ROI, good luck with your decision...Its certainly helped me with research...Phil

That's great that you can make use of Jaxxy for your clients, this is a very good reason for upgrading.
As a premium member, I feel I get excellent value for money. However, I'm sure anyone who upgrades will benefit from the extra training although I have a job to keep up with the training at the premium level. At least if I do upgrade I can offset the cost against tax which is not a bad thing.
Let's see what happens, I'm just going through all comments to see what the actual end verdict is!

I am comfortable at Premium for now. The training, support, Jaxxy, Affiliate Program search and ability to manage multiple websites (10) within the platform works for me. I can see however that I could move beyond the 10 sites and Premium Plus will cater to that. Perhaps in a year.

I understand what you're saying, the premium membership has many many features, especially if we have been a member for a few years. Since writing this blog post I have just upgraded to Premium plus, I thought I would give it a try at the reduced rate for one month. Let's see what happens.
