My Greatest Success
I've been thinking about things I've done, and I came up with a conclusion about my greatest success. It's not what I expected but I do think it's true.
It's not my academic achievements. Nor is it the books I've written or the websites I've created. It's not the money I've made.
My greatest success in my long life is how much I have loved.
That includes romance, but it also includes love of dogs, cats, and other animals. It includes love of my country, love of our world, love of great projects other people have undertaken... I'm thinking here of Dr. Paul Farmer for one.
