Hot, Hot, HOT!

I admit it, I'm complaining about the heat. It's been forecast to hit 95 or 96 the last couple of days, and for the mountains of New Mexico, that is exceptionally hot.

But it's hit 100 every day lately. Our air conditioner hasn't worked this year, and rather than spend still more on it, my husband ordered a large swamp cooler. It's due to arrive about the time the temperatures should drop. But hey, there is still plenty of summer ahead. I'm sure we'll be glad to have it.

As for now, in the evenings we open the doors, leaving the locked screen doors in place, we open most of the windows, and we run fans. We're getting by. Grumble as I might, I imagine that most of the world is hotter than we are.

From experience, I can honestly say that is is great that you don't have to shovel heat.

It gets pretty hot here as well in summer Rosana...

At least my aircon hasn't packed up yet and I have my balcony pool!!!

Stay positive and cool my friend!

Take care in that heat, Rosana!

Hi, sunshine.
what part of the world are you reporting this from?
Never mind, I got it.
New Mexico.

I am from Canada. As we speak...there are over 200 wildfires across our wonderful land of Canada and The Noth West Territories.
Thank you for your post
Paul from Canada.

Yeah, in May, we had s couple of 95 deg days. So fsr, the June gloom and almost freezing nights (early June) have kept the weather wizards guessing what the forecasts will be from day to day.

But 100 deg days, to be up that high, elevation- wise, seems awfully unusual for New Mexico.

Watch out for iguanas when you leave the doors open...grin.

Wearing almost no clothing, drinking liquids, and of course complaining helps!
